Actually, God used several women in the Bible in a good way. Take Rahab for example. She was a woman living in Jericho, and hid two Israeli spies in her home to keep them from being killed. This was vital, as without those spies the Israelites would not have succeeded in breaking the walls. Also, Mary obviously played a great part in the Bible as the mother of Jesus. Also, Alpha, to be a Christian you do not have to adhere to the Bible's teachings 100%. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice to wipe out the Old Testment law, which is the root of all the sexism. Jesus also gave us the gift of grace, in which you are forgiven for your wrongdoings. Works cannot give you salvation, only the gift of God can.

Why is this closed? We can move it to the debate forum or something.
Also, do not ignore the old testament.

Oh. I was going to close it, then decided not to. Must have left the "After Posting" thing set to "Close" by accident

People need to realize that every religion talks about women in this way.
Or not. Bahais believe something quite contrary to that.
http://www.bupc.org/equality.html says:
The Sixth Basic Baha'i Principle is:
"The Equality of Men and Women."

Most religions have sexism in them somewhere because that's what was thought for the past several millennia.
The bible has been altered over time also, which means it could have have been changed to fit someone's needs.
And finally, the comment in the picture is an opinion, where in the Bible does it say I should die because I don't agree with someone?

Deuteronomy 17:2-7
More or less, it says "Kill everyone who has religious views that are different than your own."

yet, while Machiavelli receives praise for writing roughly the same thing in his The Prince, the Bible is denounced for having such content in its pages, even though the spirit of Christian faith is such that people need not abide strictly to those Old Testament laws.
why? because to be anti-Christian is fashionable. it's a fad; you are considered intelligent if you attack the Christian faith. it disgusts me to see pseudo-intellectuals taking up this fad without the slightest bit of knowledge of the actual, proper, Christian faith and considering themselves learned people.
