My laptop, generally on my bed, but it has WiFi if I want to roam, occasionally...



My two desktop PCs, the left one runs Windows XP Home, it's my torrent/gaming/file server machine. The one on the left will run Gentoo in a few hours, going to install it tonight, I'm trying out different distros until I find one I really like.

Sooo... What's your PC setup?

The family desktop PC is down in our family room on one of those big desk things with the cabinets and...stuff. Everyone uses it, so that can get pretty frustrating, though lately I've been using my dad's laptop on the kitchen table since I can type faster for some homework assignments.

And then there's the crappy 'ol IBM Windows '98 computer in my room, it was slow as heck before, but now my brother managed to cover it in viruses so it's unusable. I'm not too upset about it since I no longer have to use a junky computer to do my homework.

I have 3 computers with 5 types of internet connections if you really must know.

I. Laptop (XP(Wi-fi setup))
II. Family computer (XP(another Wi-Fi setup))
III. Office Computer(Mac(yet another Wi-Fi setup))
(Personal internet: PSP(PSP(Wi-Fi setup))

Edit:All (including the PSP) crammed into one router!

The PC I use the most is located in my room (I'm on it now). The "family" PC is located in the den, and I use it for some purposes. I did have an HP, but I took it apart and threw most of it away, as well as an old Packard Bell (which was 10 years old ). Too bad the hard drive failed on the PB, as I was planning on making it a server of sorts. I also recently gave it the same treatment as the HP. Actually, some of the parts from the HP went into this PC, including the processor (the Achillies Heel ).

Currently working on my setup. Trying to clean my room and stuff to put my laptop in. Hopefully I can get my parents' old computer soon to upgrade

Btw, I use iTunes visualizations now, WMP visualizations suck <_<
