For those who don't visit the Guild Wars homepage, I'll post this little snippit of information about the PvP event for the up and coming Guild Wars: Factions expansion.

This will answer the questions most people will ask about the PvP event... sadly they won't add another character slot temporarily for the event however if you don't have another character slot and you want to try out the expansion, you can download the client and they will provide you with a CD key which is located on the webpage up there. Only problem is that if you create a temporary account, you won't be able to retain all the Assassin and/or Ritualist skills you unlock through Faction.

I might just delete my pre-searer and recreate him after the event since I do of course want to retain the skills I'll unlock. Choice either between A/Ri or Ri/A... gotta find out what kind of Primary Skill each of the classes have though.

I bet 95% of the characters taking part are going to be assassin or rituatlist, hehe.

And I've got that PvPer we were messing around with the other day Tanny, so I can just delete him.

I saw this earlier, and it looks cool. Is this just a "one time only" thing? Or is this like a beta for "Factions"?

Well I guess you could say that this is a "one time only beta for Factions" since the event runs from the 20th to the 22nd and unless they'll release another PvP event for people to get used to Factions, this will be the only time you'll experience the game before they release it.
