I'm not too sure about the Panthers. They have a great offense, but the Bears don't, yet they still put up 21 points. Panthers will need a tough defense and continued domination on offense to beat the Seahawks. If their defense can't hold the Seahawks running game, then they won't win.

As for Denver, they didn't win the game against New England so much as New England lost the game. Denver had nothing if not for several crucial turnovers. Kudos to the Broncos for taking out the Patriots for us, but they wont have the same strength against a superior Steeler defense and a very strong, reliable offense.

Bear's defense didn't play up to expectations, but all their starting safeties were out, so you couldn't expect them to cover Steve Smith as tightly as necessary. We would have beaten them if the safeties were in.
And now we have the quote of the day, from greenl2l: PLONGED!!!

NFL made a public appology for one of the most horrible calls I've ever seen a ref make. Troy Polamalu had an interception. He caught the ball, secured it, rolled on the ground twice, but as he got up, his knee knocked the ball out. This is called a fumble, not an incomplete pass. The smart refs on the fields relized this, and calle dit an interception. There was no legitimate reason for it not to be. The Colts, having practically lost the game right there, challenged it. A retarded (or bribed) ref reviewed the play and ruled against it, giving the Colts a chance to win the game.

Well, the Colts lost, no matter how much they paid the refs. The NFL went ahead and appologized for it.
