Well I have to interview people for this History Survey thing, it's for Xtra Credit but answer them anyways.

Please include your Age and Name(First name is fine)

1. Do you really care about the holiday? Does it really matter?

2. What did he do?

3. Why and how much does he matter to you?

4. What do you think(or know) he was like as a person?

5. What methods did he use for change?

6. How should he be remembered?

7. Do you have any specific knowledge, memories, or experiances that connect to him?

8. What would he say today?

Just put in your opinions, it's all "What do you think" questions anyways.

1. Not really -Care
Yes- Importance

2. Reduced racism and discrimination towards blacks but not end it.

3. I suppose he's important, but he doesn't really matter too much to me.

4. He was a minister, vocal, and seen as a savior to his race.

5. Some that were kind of like Gandhi's, who is important to me. Por ejemplo, boycotts, rallies. Not starvation though.

6. I guess a holiday, can't really think of much else. Its kinda sad though how they have MLK Day sales, thats really not the point.

7. Uhh yeah. We had to do study it for weeks every single year K-5. It was ****ed up, and I didn't learn anything I didn't already know.

8. Get out of Iraq, free the black people from their shackles of oppressions, etc., etc.
And now we have the quote of the day, from greenl2l: PLONGED!!!

Name: Aaron

1. Do you really care about the holiday? Does it really matter?

I do not necessarily celebrate the holiday in any way. It does not matter overwhelmingly to me, but it is significant to many other citizens.

2. What did he do?

Martin Luther King Jr. was a civil rights leader. He made great strides in the progression of freedom for blacks.

3. Why and how much does he matter to you?

As stated above, his impact on me is not profound. He does represent a great majority of those that are free today, which is important.

4. What do you think(or know) he was like as a person?

I suppose he was a helpful, loving, and caring individual that was also bold and had great leadership qualities.

5. What methods did he use for change?

He used peaceful protest as his instrument.

6. How should he be remembered?

A day dedicated to him is sufficient for his accomplishments.

7. Do you have any specific knowledge, memories, or experiances that connect to him?

Not currently.

8. What would he say today?

I suppose he would most likely keep his message and continue to make great strides in the vision of the Civil Rights Movement.
