I think we should get gil for high scores in the arcade or even getting on the high score list.

Interesting idea, but this idea bears the possibility of being abused.

I was thinking 10 gil for 1st
9 for second
8 for third
and so on down to 1 for 10th

How could it get abused?

Well... It'd throw the system out of balance a bit, and unless you were losing the gil again when you got knocked down the list, it would be too easy to exploit the system by two people continuously beating each other for gil.

Interesting idea, not sure if it would work out too well though.

except the person that got into the new top 10 slot............... would get the person whose place they overtooks gil make since

It would probably be a good idea. Just make sure that there could be penalties to balance things out.

thats true

it gets pretty hard to get on the top score list after a while
i dont think it could get abused that much in that way
