Yep, in the submission directory I added a category for Guild Wars guides. If anyone would like to write any guides, just send them to an active moderator or above and they will be added to that category with credit given.

When we have more content, the guides and everything else in that section will likely be given more visibility from the portal.

Just thought I'd stick this in the open in the case that it was not noticed. thumb.gif

Guild Wars

GW is a MMORPGish game without subscription fees. It's mission and quest oriented, and has a decent focus on PvP (player vs. player) along with cooperative gameplay. It's also based more around skills than time spent playing, and there isn't really any grinding to speak of in my opinion.

It's a fun game, particularly if you have friends to play with on it. And we've got our own Guild in the game, complete with a special cape and our own personal island and stuff.

The island was pretty and grassy and stuff at one time. But then Tan came... And he nuked the place. Now it's all sandy, but it's cooler than the grassy hall in my opinion despite the fact that the only life on that island is our guild members. I think there may also be a blade of grass somewhere, but it's probably dead.

Never trust elementalists...

(Icarus, just kidding by the way, we chose the desert hall bluetongue.gif )

Anyway this guide section for Guild Wars should be good as. If anyone would like to submit any guides for farming, class-combinations or information about the different professions, you're more than welcome to! TheSmile.gif

Great idea Cspace. TheSmile.gif Though guide-writing is somewhat beyond limitations, I'm available for in-game Guild Wars counseling if anyone needs help (PvE only). TheSmile.gif I'm ascending my 7th and last character this weekend (R/Me), so I'll be really bored after that! bluetongue.gif

I can offer first-hand advice for any of the primary professions:
Elementalist, Mesmer, Warrior, Ranger, Necromancer, Monk.

I don't really have any guide-writing experience, but maybe I'll write a few mini-guides. I'd feel a little bad about writing up a guide for the farming build that I read in a different guide, but my strategy is a little different so if I give credit where it's due maybe it'll be okay. bluetongue.gif
