I think we need a subforum somewhere (probably events) where hosts can ask for gil to be used in their contests/events. This might make it easier for the Admins instead of getting PMs about it, they could just check out the forum.

I like that idea.

I have tried to host an event before and MP the admins

I just never get a a responce back

You don't have to PM the admins to get permission to host an event, just go ahead and organise it. grnwink.gif


As for the idea, I have the feeling such a subforum would just go inactive and then not be checked anyway. Gil being provided for contests should be quite a rare occurance, so it's not something there should be very many requests for. The chances of our busy Admins checking a board that usually has nothing of interest for them is probably a bit lower than them checking their PMs.

That's just my perception of it though. I don't have any particular problem with the idea, I'm just not so sure that it would make a difference in practice.

Yeah, I thought about it more and now see it could go quite inactive and it might be easier to just PM Star for the gil for your contest.

That or it would get flooded by new members requesting gil.
