The Great Guild Hall Debate

Perhaps we should take into consideration our strengths. What do we have, and what do you think our tactics will be? Frozen favors casters and other ranged characters that don't require mobility. Nomad's favors warriors and melee when the battle is in the quicksand, but is almost completely balanced when on regular turf. Nomad's is larger and has portals for tactics unlike the other halls. Frozen seems slightly smaller and has more landscape-related tactics. Which will be more fun? Which would accomodate us most now?
It just seems to me that we are stronger in the physical and melee side of things and mobility is probably an issue that will need to be a consideration. Having tanks forced to walk is a bad thing because it makes everyone else vulnerable. I could be wrong though, but this is just my perspective.

Yeah apart from Moo, I seem to be the only real Magic wielder at the moment.
Right now it is apparent that our strengths lie in the melee side with magic being used as a backup and support to sustain the life expectancy of those in close combat so in the melee sense, Nomad's Isle would be a good choice. If our strengths lay on the Magic/Support side of things, Frozen Isle would be ideal because you can attack from range without having to worry about the Frozen penalty.
If the Guild were to produce a few more magic users (I could make a few more if needed) and we keep our close combatants, then I think that either Hall would be ideal and open for a variety of strategies.
What we seem to lack right now is magic. I know Sproogle has a magic user up and running (I have no idea what level... Sorry Sproogle! I haven't been on much to chat!) so if we were to get ourselves either one more Monk, Necromancer or Elementalist, it would broaden what we are able to achieve through PvP or GvG battles.

^^ Thanks Ayumi, you rock!! ^^
How many five-year-olds could you take in a fight?
Red Carnation, Hibiscus. Spiderflower. White Violet... Peony?

I'll begin to work on a mesmer. Clearly Rat is worried about the lack of magic, and my warrior's really not getting out of Amnoon any time soon.
Oh, and another note. My old guild had the warriors guild. It was small, with one central raised bridge in the center. In the middle of the bridge was a staircase leading to the ice. You'll find most conflict on the bridge towards the center.

HI! I'M BACK SPORADICALLY! Nobody probably remembers me :(

It would be nice to customize guild halls. We could have statues, extra walls, gates, hire mercenaries, special all destroying siege weapons...
You know... all fair stuff.
You know... all fair stuff.

I could find so many uses for this in our hall...

Hehehehe! I think we'd make it to the Guild Championships with that

Oh no, and Cspace said it was trouble when me, Ariana and Tanny was in charge. Just look what Cspace and Ariana can do themselves

Hmm, you're giving me ideas. What if we build it, and I take control of it, and then subdue you, Ariana, and Tan... Then I can conquer the guild, and with its incomprehensible deuterium-powered capabilities, Tyria will follow...
Eep, I didn't just say that.

At least we can make all other guilds' halls look like ours or the burning hall; Pull them all down to our level.

Unless there's a good reason for it, then I'm all for it.
