I've had a few questions from guildies in regards to GvG... so I thought I'd post this. For those that are new to Guild Wars. Guild vs Guild can be observed using "B" in any town or outpost. That being said, you will probably notice that most if not all guild battles are fought with full teams of level 20 players. NPC's are not recommended! I am not seasoned with the rules around GVG but I believe you can have a "friendly match" where you select a guild to challenge, or you allow the system to assign one for you as a rated match. http://216.86.149.24...ld_versus_Guild

You can also use PVP characters in Guild battles, however, your character will not be as effective if you have not unlocked adequate skills/items required for your build.

Builds can vary greatly and some generic ones are highlighted in the new Battle Isles training areas. I just wanted to throw this topic out there and see how many level 20 role playing characters we have here, and what professions! As well as any guildies that have PVP only characters that are ready for GvG.

It's not a headcount, silly. It's a body count.

It's recommended to use a PvP character if you're an avid PvP'er. It's much better than using that level 20 you've neglected.

Oh, and if anyone knows where I can get an 31337 ele or warrior (Sword) spell, contact me. NOW.^_^

PvP characters are more customizable, but only if you've unlocked enough skills and upgrades through roleplaying. And if you happen to have a particularly nice build with equipment on your RPing character, there's no reason not to go with that.

Ferret, if you're a W/E then perhaps try looking into some of the knockdown Aeromancy skills.

*Counts body* Well I've got my W/Mo, but I can't see that lasting too long in GvG. Once I've unlocked a few more skills for other classes, I should be able to make up a few fairly effective builds hopefully. I still like tanking, so maybe a W/E or something.

We need a ranger team! All with homicidal level 20 striders and moa birds.

Nothing will cause more terror than a horde of those birds charging at you. They'll peck the other guild to death while the rangers trap up the whole arena.

all ranger team is powerful my old guild got owned by one....i was the guild leader...we did alot of guildvsguild so i'm familiar with them...i was the caller/owner of the team

I have a W/E char. But, i havn't done very much PvP.......but i have been watching hours (literally) of GvG matches via the observer mode.

PS: how much does the CD cost? and is it like runescape whitch is also a mmorpg game. Please make it in U.S. Dollers (USD).

hmm....i think its $39.99 when i bought it.

In other news, I'll have to take a change on the PvP or guildwars entiely for that matter. I've been playing on my brothers laptop for sometime because the graphics card on my comp is just crappy. Well, it seems that my brother will be moving out most likely in two weeks so my Guildwars days (and PvP) are numbered T_T. So my activity in GW will be severly hampared until I buy a graphics card. >_< *sigh* i shoulda bought one much much earlier.........
