I do not believe either has made it illegal to purchase any specific type of game (except porn, which is another story entirely), however, store ploicies are based upon these ratings and result is that many games and movies have been removed from the store shelves. I am not against this, as it gives parents a general guideline as to what games are pieces of violent garbage, and what games aren't.

there are more than one possible ways you could debate the point that Hillary's actions are immoral, and consequently more than one possible ways to counter. and if you're too lazy to display your logic, your statement has no place in this debate.
and although the ESRB is officially only a guideline, its purpose - and effect, to some degree - is essentially to limit accessibility to these inappropriate games.
