Defenders of Aderon is comming along quite well. Things are running smoothly, we are fairly active and members are having fun doing missions, farming, and capping with each other. What are we missing, though? Is there anything that can be done to better aid DoA as a guild?
Personally, I'm trying to get my Elementalist a forge chest armor. Right now I'm at around 70k cash and 30-50k in items. The chest armor alone will probably end up costing me 500k. My goal is to get the chest armor by summer. I'm sure I can accomplish this with some cash to spare. I want to know what I should do with the extra stuff. I'm farming SF to death for expensive greens. Some of them, however, are useless to me and not worth very much to anyone. I'm thinkign about donting them all to newer members. That will be my contribution. I want to do more, though. Any ideas?

No, that's going to promote random recruition, which is actually worse than none. Raising activity is indeed a good idea, but that's not really the best way to do it.
Hmm... More events would be good, and recruiting could be part of that. It's just that it's important to make sure people are going to fit in well with the guild, and adding a competitive element isn't the way to go about that.
It'd also probably be good to work on trying to get some of our newer members posting on the boards, so they can be a part of things better.

The problem with telling them to go to the forums is the link. yeah, you say 'www.cspacezone.com', but it gets pretty confusing from there. >_< So when you're recruiting you should make sure you give details so they know how to get to the GW Faction forum. Like this:
-"Go to www.cspacezone.com"
-"Now register there by clicking on the register button and filling out the fields."
-"Once you're registered and logged in, scroll down the forums a little until you see 'Guilds Wars: Defenders of Aderon', and you'll find us there."
I think inviting them into the guild first is important so that they're officially in and everything (so they can ask questions from anyone in the guild through guild chat). I couldn;t myself for my first recruit, so I was just like 'Add Whitemage Tanny because I can't spell his other names'.

You also can tell them to go to http://www.doa.cspacezone.com , which gives a direct link to the forum here
