Well, for some time now I've had the necessary materials to make the Obsidian Robes, but since the book trick was nerfed, I couldn't make it to the forgemaster. Last night I gave it another shot, and sure enough, I managed to make it on my birthday of all days! Our group had 2 Warriors, a Ranger, 2 Monks, a SS/Battery Necro and a Dervish (who kicked butt). One of the monks left right before we got to the forge, and I thought for sure we'd die after that. Somehow we managed, and we made it all the way through the spider caves. After getting my sexy new armor, we called it a night and disbanded.

It's going to take me some time before I finish this. I've decided to buy as much as I can, rather than farm it all. The money I get from FoW will be sufficient to buy me the gloves. I may go back to farming ecto with my lovely necro, but I hear some of the things got nerfed.
