This board is in no way boring.
There is almost always someone on at all times and there are always new topics to post in... every time I visit. ^_^

Gil is just a little incentive for posting, if you don't like it then it's fine, it's not mandatory to buy things with the gil. I don't think people should focus on gaining gil though, because you're mainly hee to interact with others, not raise your gil.
