Comedian, Actor. A native of St. Paul, Minnesota, he began his career as a comedian in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and then in Florida, before moving to Seattle, Washington, where he began to tour. Not soon afterwards he began to make appearances in films, and television, including MTV's "Comikaze" in 1996, "The Late Show With David Letterman" in 1999, "That 70's Show" in 1998, "Dr. Katz, Professional Therapist" in 1999, "Ed" in 2001, "Late Friday" in 2001, and the 2000 film, "Almost Famous." In 1999 he also did the voices of 'Dr. Fizzel' and 'Mitch the 5th Grader', in the animated series, "Home Movies", and also that same year he appeared in the role of 'Lee' in the film, "Los Enchiladas!", which he wrote, directed, and produced. Hedberg also performed at the 2001 Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, Quebec, and recorded two comedy CDs, "Strategic Grill Locations" and "Mitch All Together." He passed away unexpectedly at the age of 37 in New Jersey hotel room. (bio by: KP)
