Lol, some people were running around Stormwind saying that wisps were the other upcoming class, and I just kinda dismissed it as a joke until I figured out that it wasn't (or so it would seem).

But... Why? Lol

The Horde gets Blood Elves, and the Alliance gets dead Night Elf spirits with permadeath?

Hehe, if I want to be a wisp, I kamikaze a Night Elf.

... Indeed, it still could be a joke. I mean, the day before April Fools Day, they release an unbalanced race for Alliance that is nothing more than a floating head with a special kamikaze ability we know no one will use... But if it is not a joke, three 's to Blizzard.

Although as a joke, it is quite extensive to say the least, and for those who don't check the site often it could send them off confused for quite some time.

And therefore, if it is a joke, I congratulate Blizzard

Bliz ALWAYS goes all out with april fools jokes.
2 years ago (before all the races where relased for WoW) they anounced that one of the races was 2 headed ogres.

According to Roadtoad (Why may be coming back to our forums. Look on the WoW server for a join request from Brosky (Horde (OMG! LOTSA parentheses (CAN'T KEEP UP!)!)), they also put wisps as a new race.
