If you're seriously in need of computer help check out http://www.geekstogo.com/ they -may- take some time to respond, but they will try their best to respond and help as fast as they can. Once there go to where the hijackthis logs are placed and read the starting topic, do what it states then post your topic, and finally wait (don't reply in your own topic if no one answers, they look at replies to see if anyone needs answers). biglaugh.gif

i have my virus removlng ways...most of wich involve hex editors. my problem is that my comp cant open and run stuff because my "system idle processes" take 80% of my cpu and the viruses take the rest

Get Norton Internet Security, best thing available. It controls task manager and doesn't let "foreign" files hog memory and it blocks anything internet related. The new spyware option is awesome and it blocks your homepage from being changed without your own permission.

Here is what you do, download Ad Aware, Spybot S & D, a free anti virus program, a firewall and Ewido Anti Malware. Run and download all available updates. Also if you cant get anything working your best bet is to try and restore your computer to the earliest date possible. If for some reason your computer doesnt restore, do a full reboot and go from there. I'll post the links to where you can download the programs.

Spybot S & D

Ad Aware SE Personal Edition 6

AVG Anti Virus Free Edition 7

Ewido Anti Malware 3.5

Rambooster

Zone Alarm Firewall 6.1
