1. Homosexuality is genetic.

2. STD are acquired more easily through anal sex, because the anal lining is thinner than the vaginal.

3. Let people do what they want. We have no right to not let people do what they believe. Restricting gay marriage is the same as restricting religion.

What the?
There is no proof that Homosexuality is genetic, I mean if it was, how can one child be gay and another is not, like is often common, and how come gay people pop up from "normal" families with straight parents, do they suddenly just 'become' gay and the 'gay gene' just happens? Of all the 3 points, only the second one bares any real idea. Gay is not a belief, but more of a lifestyle, and how they choose to live it, but i don't see how it is the same as resricting religion, as religion is a belief in something, or have i been wrong and that gay people "believe" that they like the same sex, and think that the average person is wrong. I know some gay people, and they would like to be straight, in fact wish to be 'normal' but they just aren't attracted to the opposite sex, and don't get the same fulfillment.

It's not really there fault, it's not like people wake up and say "oh.. i'm gay" but what i've heard, it's just like they knew, maybe they were initially confused, and then it sorta just 'grew' from that. I'm not for gay marriage because it promotes the act to be normal, but again that is just my "religion" beliefs and I can't change people minds.
The overall point is I don't think you can pick who is or isn't going to be Gay, i think it is more in how the person grows up, the events that happen early on in their life and other factors. But then again, that might be me just rambling.. sing.gif

I strongly believe that homosexuals should not have the right to marry. As a Catholic, I believe that all forms of homosexuality are extremely immoral, sinful, and wrong.

Liberalism is messing up this world enough as it is, we do not need to have to sanctity or marriage ruined aswell. >.>

Nobody would have ever guessed even 40 years ago that gays would want to get married. o_0

i agree that liberalism is really messing up this world... as a christian, i do have to say that the amount of people that are devoutely religious in both Eroupe and the US has really gone down... this is probably because of all those liberals... i'm with you, i'm conseravtive.

the really bad thing with gay people is when they are straight, then decide to leave thier husband or wife to live with another gay person... my previous godfather used to be fine... but when i was like 9 or something, h decided he was gay and stopped living with his family and only ever had dinner with them less than once a month. i'm so glad that i got new, really good godparents... the rest wouldn't really do anything with me sad.gif

another bad thing about gays is that they may fall in love with someone of the same gender that doesn't even like them and they chase that person anyways... like in this really sick Mario bros. cartoon i saw... it was called "wario goes straight"

can you believe Wario going after a Luigi who keeps trying to get away from him?

I'm sure we've already touched on this, but let's bring it back into the spotlight. Post your views on same sex marriage!

I belive that even if my religion dosen't approve of it that people should have free will to do what ever they want, execpt kill ect. But im not looking to go to the "other-side" anytime soon, but one of my cousins is gay so, there you have it. TheSmile.gif costumed-smiley-089.gif
