Mining is worthless now, the fastest gp in it is selling Silver that you mine.

Mine and smith what you can, sell it to specialty stores.

As you get gems, mine gold, make necklaces and sell to jewelry store (saph and emmy only) or make amulets to sell to players (ruby and diamond).
Those who will remember, will speak fondly of the warm morning breeze.

I say either mine silver and gold, or craft gems and necklaces, sell in specialty stores. To heck with mining.
