Why dont you guys put it in a major city like varrock or falador. Falador has those empty buildings and people can advertise the shop near the groups of people in falador. Varrock doesn't have a lot of empty buildings but there are a few I think and there's also major crowds of people there. Those two would be a good place to start.

a bit north of the east bank, and west fo the dummy hitting thing. its plain grass there and ltos of people pass by, and go to the bank so it will be filled with busines!

The only way you can sell stuff now, is go to Scapeboard or go to world 1,2 or 7 varrock and shout: -
@whi@--------------Selling Lump of Cheese, 555 to buy -----------

Shops dont really work anymore, the game isn't true role play.

You never know, player own shops may come with Carpentry bluetongue.gif
