Just make sure that when you go to the gym, you ALWAYS do a proper warm up, cooldown, and always, always, always do plenty of stretches, both before and after all workouts.

Wait, wait. I seem to recall something about carbs and diets from Health this year. Oh yes! It seems you mustn't totally cut out carbs. They're good for you and your body needs them, or something like that. If you need to, reduce the amount you get daily, but don't completely cancel them out from your diet. I guess.
That would be correct. And it isn't just carbs either, it's everything. Good and bad fats, sugar, salt, everything. And for those of you who take supplements: Taking them does not mean your diet can be less healthy.
And to the ladies: most, if not all, contraceptive pills (the kind you have to take every day) reduce particular levels of certain vitamins and/or minerals your body needs, so if you are on the pill, have a chat with your GP and find out what you have to do to ensure that you don't run too low on vitamins/minerals the pill sucks away at.
