World Cup 2006! Starts 9th June 2006

I'm sure that many of you will know that the World Cup is just around the corner!

I intend to use this topic to discuss things during the world cup, but before it begins, who will you be supporting and who do you think will win it?

As for me, I will be supporting England (as you probably will have guessed by now bluetongue.gif ), and I genuinely believe that we will win it this year - despite saying this every time we participate in an international competition bluetongue.gif, but to be fair, we have come closer and closer these last few years!

my relatives long past tell me that the World Cup is a golf award is it not?

i like golf, but i'm not obssessed with it enough to watch it on television unless its the only intresting thing on.

wanna bet Tiger Woods wins? thats if.... hes in this year... i never know these things.

World cup... golf? Ha, you must be thinking of the Tour De France. bluetongue.gif (Intentional)

But yeah, Steelers are gonna win the world cup this year. 2eyes.gif I'm gonna root for the US, but soccer isn't a big sport over here. I'm gonna take a wild guess and say Germany will take it. By the way, where is it this year?

I'll admit, I'm not too much of a fan of soccer. icon_sweatdrop.gif Too little action in too much time. It's... what, 90 minute halves? Or something like that? Even though I don't have a tiny attention span, that's still too much for me. bluetongue.gif Hockey's my thing.

Still... Though I don't know who's going to win, while I'm inclined to say that the Scotland Llamas are going to go all the way, I'd have to take a wild (but legitimate) guess and go with Brazil.
