To make the Manetheren Warriors garden a little more fun, I’ve made a list of jobs that are from The Wheel of Time Series. They aren’t really jobs in the books, so I’ve converted them into “job form.” I will give a definition for each one from the book in blue text, and then type its “job form” in yellow text. Please tell me which ones you like or dislike.
-The Accepted: Young woman in training to be Aes Sedai who have reached a certain level of power and passed certain tests. It normally takes five to ten years to be raised from novice to Accepted. Accepted are somewhat less confined by rules than novices, and are allowed to choose their own areas of study, within limits. Accepted wear a Great Serpent ring, but only on the third finger of the left hand. When an Accepted is raised Aes Sedai, she chooses her Ajah, gains the right to wear a shawl, and may wear the ring on any finger or not at all if circumstances warrant.
-You will not actually have to wait five to ten years to become an Accepted. There are also no novices for our garden. Instead you will have to reach level 45 magic. And that’s not all. As it says in the definition, you also have to pass tests. I’ve made up two tests you must past to become an Accepted after you reach level 45 magic. If you fail a test, you must wait one week before you can try to pass both tests. For the first test, you must kill the lesser demon in the wizard tower with only magic in five minutes or less. Someone will have to be there to keep time and to be a witness. The second test is more difficult. You will have to go into the wild with someone from the Manetheren Warriors garden or a seeD that is one level higher than you and wearing full iron armor. You will go into the wild with nothing except runes. With a witness overlooking this test, you’ll have defeat the seeD, but you get to use magic. If you pass both tests, you will become an Accepted and receive a ring (ruby or diamond) since I can’t actually give an Accepted a Great Serpent ring. Please keep the ring once you get it since it’s supposed to be your Great Serpent ring showing that you’re an Accepted. The only reason for not having the ring is because you got hacked. I’ll see if I can find a picture of a Great Serpent ring (golden snake biting its own tail).
-Three Oaths: The oaths taken by an Accepted on being raised to Aes Sedai. Spoken while holding the Oath Rod, a ter’angreal that makes oaths binding. They are: (1) To speak no word that is not true. (2) To make no weapon with which one man may kill another. (3) Never to use the One Power as a weapon except again Shadowspawn, or in the last extreme defense of her own life; or that of her Warder or another Aes Sedai. The second oath was the first adopted, in reaction to the War of Shadow. The first oath, while held to the letter, is often circumvented by careful speaking. It is believed that the last two are inviolable.
-The first oath is probably the most important to our garden, since we can’t have people lying to each other. When Aes Sedai get in the position when they can’t tell someone something, they must be careful in what they say and somehow weave their way around lying. You can also try to change the subject. For example: If someone asks you something, say, “Why do you ask?” or something like that, and keep going in that direction. As for the second oath, some Aes Sedai will probably be smithers, too, so when you’re taking that oath, you’re really saying that you vow not make weapons for enemies or people fighting against each other. And for the third oath, that says that you can only use magic against enemies, monsters, or someone that attacks you in the wild since it is the “last extreme defense of your life.”
-Aes Sedai: Wielders of the One Power. Since the Time of Madness, all surviving Aes Sedai are women. Widely distrusted and feared, even hated. Blamed by many for the Breaking of the World, and thought to meddle in the affairs of nations. At the same time, few rulers are without an Aes Sedai advisor, even in lands where such a connection must be kept secret. After some years of channeling the One Power, Aes Sedai take on an ageless quality, so that one old enough to be a grandmother may show no signs of age except perhaps a few gray hairs.
-To become Aes Sedai, you must already be an Accepted and reach level 60 magic. Aes Sedai in our garden aren’t feared, distrusted, and hated by others. The reason for that in the book is because of the Time of Madness and the Breaking of the World. Male Aes Sedai were the cause of that because of the taint of the Dark One on the male of the True Source, all male Aes Sedai went mad. Yet people believe that the female Aes Sedai will do it, too. When you are raised to Aes Sedai, you must choose an Ajah (you can never change your Ajah). Here is the definition of Ajah and a list of the Ajahs:
-Ajah: Societies among the Aes Sedai, seven in number designated by colors: Blue, Red, White, Green, Brown, Yellow, and Gray. All Aes Sedai except the Amyrlin Seat belong to one. Each follows a specific philosophy of the use of the One Power and the purposes of the Aes Sedai.
-Red Ajah: The Red Ajah bends their energies to finding men who can channel, and to gentling them.
-Brown Ajah: The Brown Ajah forsakes involvement with the mundane world and dedicates itself to seeking knowledge.
-White Ajah: The White Ajah devotes itself to questions of philosophy and truth.
-Green Ajah: (called the Battle Ajah during the Trolloc Wars) The Green Ajah holds itself ready for Tarmon Gai’don.
-Yellow Ajah: The Yellow Ajah concentrates on the study of healing.
-Blue Ajah: The Blue Ajah involves themselves with causes and justice.
-Gray Ajah: The Gray Ajah are mediators, seeking harmony and consensus.
-Black Ajah: The Black Ajah are dedicated to serving the Dark; are officially denied.
-For the Red Ajah, their job instead will be to mages in an enemy clan and killing them with magic, especially during a clan war. The Green Ajah use magic during a clan war to kill any enemies. The Yellow Ajah will probably have to be good cooks and use spells against enemies such as curse and weaken. The Black Ajah is definitely not an Ajah that can be chosen, and are mages in enemy clans.
-Amyrlin Seat: (1) Leader of the Aes Sedai. Elected for life by the Hall of the Tower, which consists of three representatives (called Sitters, as in “a Sitter for the Green) from each Ajah. The Amyrlin Seat has, theoretically, supreme authority among Aes Sedai, and ranks as the equal of a king or queen. A lightly less formal usage is “the Amyrlin.” (2) The throne on which the leader of the Aes Sedai sits.
-I will need agreement from the garden members on having an Amyrlin Seat. If so, there of course would only be one, and they would have to have a magic level of at least 80.
-Keeper of the Chronicles: Second in authority to the Amyrlin Seat among Aes Sedai, she also acts as secretary to the Amyrlin. Chosen for life by the Hall of the Tower, usually from the same Ajah as the Amyrlin. A slightly less formal usage is “the Keeper.”
-This job will be made if our garden decides to an Amyrlin Seat. The Keeper of the Chronicles would pretty much be 2nd in Command to the Amyrlin Seat and help the Amyrlin organize things like a secretary. They will also have to have a magic level of at least 70.
-This is pretty much the end of jobs that involve Aes Sedai and the White Tower, so I’ll have to explain about the White Tower before moving on. The White Tower is where all female Aes Sedai and people training to be Aes Sedai live. Not all of the Aes Sedai are there, since many leave the White Tower because of business they have to do. They can’t do everything in the White Tower. The Amyrlin and the Keeper of the Chronicles are the ones who are usually there, unless they have important business to attend to. The White Tower will be the Wizard Tower south of Draynor Village in Runescape. It will be where all meetings for the Aes Sedai are held and where Aes Sedai or Accepted train their magic skill (shoot magic at the Lesser Demon).
-Gleeman: A traveling storyteller, musician, juggler, tumbler, and all-around entertainer. Known by trademark cloaks of many-colored patches, gleemen perform mainly in the villages and smaller towns.
-This is probably the most fun job. As the definition says, you will travel around Runescape entertaining people. You can tell stories, tell jokes, play games with people, and if you want, hold drop parties. Since a gleeman wears a patch-covered cloak with many colors, you will have to have every color of capes there is and keep switching them.
-The Sea Folk (Atha’an Miere): More properly, the Atha’an Miere, the People of the Sea. A secretive people. Inhabitants of islands in the Aryth (AH-rihth) Ocean and the Sea of Storms, they spend little time ashore, living most of their lives on their ships. Most seaborne trade is carried by Sea Folk ships.
-You must have a fishing level at least 50 to be Atha’an Miere. It is a good idea to have a good amount of fish in your bank if you are Atha’an Miere.
-Aiel: The people of the Aiel Waste. Fierce and hardy. Veil their faces before they kill, giving rise to the saying “acting like a black-veiled Aiel” to describe someone being violent. Deadly Warriors with weapons or with bare hands, they will not touch a sword. Their pipers play them into battle with the music of dances. Aiel call battle “the dance,” and “the dance of spears.”
-To become Aiel you must have a combat level of at least 50. When you become Aiel you must choose an Aiel warrior society. First, here’s the definition:
-Aiel Warrior Societies: Aiel warriors are all members of one of the warrior societies, such as the Stone Dogs (Shae’en M’taal), the Red Shields (Aethan Dor), the Water Seekers (Duahde Mahdi’in) or the Maidens of the Spear (Far Dareis Mai). Each has its own customs, and sometimes specific duties. For example, Red Shields act as police. Stone Dogs are often used as rear guards during retreats, while Maidens are often scouts. Aiel clans frequently raid and battle, but members of the same society will not fight each other even if their clans do so. Thus there are always lines of contact between the clans even during open warfare.
-There will only be seven Aiel warrior societies even though there are many. Here is the list and their definitions:
-Maidens of the Spear: Literally “Maidens of the Spear.” An Aiel warrior society which, unlike any other, admits women and only women. A Maiden may not marry and remain in the society, nor may she fight while carrying a child. Any child born to a Maiden is given to another woman to raise, in such a way that no one knows the child’s mother. (“You may belong to no man, nor may any man belong to you, nor any child. The spear is your lover, your child, and your life.”)
-Stone Dogs (Shae’en M’taal): Rear guards during retreats.
-Red Shields (Aethon Dor): Act as police.
-Brothers of the Eagle (Far Aldazar Din): No definition yet.
-Water Seekers (Duahde Mahdi’in): No definition yet.
-Black Eyes (Seia Doon): No definition yet.
-Thunder Walkers (Sha’mad Conde): No definition yet.
-Aiel also must wear a black large (instead of a black veil) before killing another person in the wild. So if an Aiel is wearing a black large helmet, they’re going to kill someone (probably people on the Wanted List). But they have to take the black large helmet off when they’re not killing anymore. Also, Aiel call battle “the dance” or “the dance of the spears.” So when they are going to fight someone (black-veiled), they say, “Let’s dance.” Aiel also fear water, but not to drink.
-Blademaster: This title is given to someone who has mastered their skill with sword. For Runescape, you’ll have to raise your attack level to 70. Once someone has mastered their skill with a sword and are a Blademaster, they receive a heron-marked sword. For runescape, a Blademaster will receive a rune long sword instead.
-Warder: A warrior bonded to an Aes Sedai. The bonding is a thing of the One Power: by it he gains such gifts as quick healing, the ability to go long periods without food, water, or rest, and the ability to sense the taint of the Dark One at a distance. So long as a Warder lives, the Aes Sedai to whom he is bonded knows he is alive however far away he is, and when he dies she will know the moment and manner of his death. While most Ajahs believe an Aes Sedai may have one Warder bonded to her at a time, the Red Ajah refuses to bond any Warders at all, while the Green Ajah believe an Aes Sedai may bond as many as she wishes. Ethically the Warder must accede to the bonding voluntarily, but it has been known to be done against the Warder’s will. What the Aes Sedai gain from the bonding is a closely held secret.
-To become a Warder, you must have a combat level of 60 (maybe 70). A Warder will have a choice, to bond with an Aes Sedai or not to bond with an Aes Sedai. Once an Aes Sedai has bonded with a Warder, the Warder must follow the Aes Sedai everywhere and protect her from everything. The Aes Sedai’s life is more important than the Warder’s life. A Wader is also supposed to do what the Aes Sedai asks him to do. Aes Sedai of course can’t make the Warder do ridiculous things. Also, Warders cannot bond with Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah, and more than one Warder can bond to an Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah.
All right, those are many jobs and titles to be decided on in this garden. Remember, tell me your likes and dislikes. I also may find more jobs and titles.

Well, I see a lot of people with high magic levels, and Accepted and Aes Sedai are pretty much some of the only jobs where you need a certain magic level.

We're probably not going to have any garden jobs, it would get too complicated. I'm not sure why I posted this. . . lol.
