Honestly something like a perfect Insightful mod (+5 Energy) will run you a 5-10k. So you're better off grabbing a 2k green staff.

As far as where you get mods, you use an expert salvage kit on weapons with the prefix/suffix upgrade attached. You have a chance you'll get a mod from salvaging it, and a chance you'll just get materials.

It's driving me nuts, I HATE this damn mission but if you get a good group (which I've yet to find) then it can be done quickly. It is the hardest monster mission in the game in my opinion. It took me several tries with different groups, but I have some advice on what to do.

1. Never use henches, and hope the Luxons don't either (even though they usually do).

2. Your group should have at least one degen Mesmer and one poisoning Ranger. You absolutely cannot let the dragon get any health regen even while flying away.

3. Your group should only have one or two warriors, and they are only for the Afflicted and the dragon scales.

4. Skip the cutscene, otherwise the dragon will regenerate its health!

EDIT- 5. Make sure that you bring at least a couple Rangers or Mesmers. Disruption of the dragon's scales and lightning attacks are crucial (although you can succeed without disruption).

Good luck Amon, I don't plan on doing Unwaking Waters more than one more time .

I would offer help but I won't be on Guild Wars until July. My team didn't have any issue with this mission so it didn't stain my memory properly. We weren't especially tactical, we just ran up and killed it after killing the Afflicted. I did the mission very shortly after Factions was released and the Kurzick side only had a few players so we ended up with a party of henchies. Our only healing came from one Necro/Monk and one Ritualist/Monk and possibly the henchie monk on the other team. We took no Warriors, using all ranged killers instead. Well of Power and Well of Blood were particularly useful for our team. We used brute damage on the dragon (no real degens.) The MM lead the tanking team of minions and the mission went through easily at Master's. And I was the communing Ritualist/Ranger with disrupts.

Finally did it! We only had a team of 6 people plus 2 healer henchies, and the other team was all henchies. We basically focused on degen and interrupting and it was fairly easy in the end.

I was wondering if we could get a group of us to go down and do the titan quest called The Titan Source. I've had this quest for months and it's almost impossible to get a group of people for it. To make things worse, it's near Grendich Courthouse, meaning that we can only have a maximum of four people in a team. Although, we could run from Yak's Bend and have a group of six people. I know that the guild is almost deserted at the moment, but who would be up for it?
