Argh.. I was actually in a group where people went to do the quests. I coordinated the group throughout the whole Wraithful Spirits quest, then all of a sudden one of the guys charms the spider that spawned. My first time completing the quest and some guy swiped it.. Very frustrating. >< We then preceded to do Escort of Souls, which didn't produce a spider. So then we went on to Unwanted Gests. We defeated about four groups, then at a random spot two Aatxes jumped us, and we ended up dieing.

..Argh.

Yeah, we had a 55 at the begginning. Five rangers (trapping), two monks, and a necro. One monk left early. Apparently the necro was an SS, but he was completely useless. The other monk tanked very well as a 55, but after the first quest she left suddenyl without warning. All of the rangers stayed for the other quests though.

Sometimes they amaze me with their tanking, but then one nightmare (which I can 3-hit with my staff) and they get screwed.

Yep, the general rule is to kill nightmares before anything else, since they *will* get the 55 monk killed if you don't get them.

Nah, it's strip.. That's what I saw them caasting last trip at least.

Anyways... I finally got a spider!!!

Heart Black Widow Spider, after the Wrathful Spirits quest which I've done I think three times now. Basically I just went as bossy as possible, telling everyone to listen to me ot else.

We had 5 rangers including myself, one 55 that ignored my warnings of nightmares destroyinger her (resulted in her death + leave), and a healer monk. The healer monk mocked my bossiness.

Anyways, I finally charmed the spider, so now I can finally move on.. I'm still obsessed with the UW though, I'm planning on making guides for it. I'd like to advance farther in it though, just so that I can have a complete guide.

Congrats on the Spider!

However, it's rend enchantments. Which is why 1) you lose all your enchantments and 2) the dying nightmare ends up with almost half his health and is easily killed. http://gw.gamewikis....Dying_Nightmare

Strip enchantment only removes on Enchantment from foe and heals the caster as a result. If Anet had only used strip enchantment, then SS necro's would not have gained popularity as fast in the UW realm. Since a monk can easily keep a buffer of enchants.

Longtime update.. I actually got Drago's Vampiric Flatbow today. =D It was only my second Sorrow's Furnace run, and there it was.. I almost fell out of my chair after a spin of relief.

Wooo!!! Congorats Draggy! I'm SO jealous... I can't get very far in Sorrows with just henchies >.< It's quite evil

Once I get my ranger to level 20, we should go elite skill capping =P

Yeah, absolutely.

I've got plenty to cap still, such as Spike Trap, Punishing Shot, Greater Conflagration, etc..
