If you are in or north of fally, especially in goblin village beware of people asking you if you want a large sum of money. They will most likely take you to the chaos temple and get you to take the wine of zammy. You can take this but only if all the monks are dead, if they're not then they will all attack you at once and you'll probably die if you're a lower lvl.
Another popular place where people will try to get you killed is Draynor Mannor. They will take you to the vampire on the lower floor and will tell you to attack it and say that it wont be able to kill you unless you have started the quest. However the only way to kill it is to start the quest.
If somebody says that Jagex blocks your passwords, don't believe them, Jagex does not block your password unless it is a word they consider to be offensive.
If somebody says "free armor trimming" don't believe them. No one, including members can trim armor.
If someone says that they're selling accounts don't believe them. Chances are they have recovery questions set and will just take it right back.
Don't believe people if they tell you that they will make you a member for free if you give them your password.
Also i've seen people walking around saying "follow to win 100k"... I followed once and they said I won ( I was the highest lvled person that followed) they then told me to give them my password so that they could put the money on my account. I don't know how someone could fall for this, but I see people doing this a lot.
Another big one is lower lvls running around begging for money, or saying that they were hacked, or killed. I've known some higher leved people who created accounts whos only purpose was to do that. They even bragged to me how much money they could make in one day.
Oh yea... If someone says that they will sell you items they got from a random event or a holiday by dropping it and letting you pick it up after you pay them, don't believe them. Untradeable items will not be seen by anyone but the person who originally got them.
If someone starts begging you for something and says that they will report you if you don't give it to them, don't get scared that you will get banned or something. Just don't give them whatever it is, if they do report you it's missuse of customer support and that is something you can report them for.

If someone says drop all ure items and hit alt and f4 and wait two mins to duplicate ure items, dont! alt and f4 closes the screen, for all those people that sadly dont know..

Trust trades...like I bid the highest for that item. Someties scammers say you give me one item and I'll give it back then you give a higher and more expensive item and I'll give it back. Then they say you ever trades the most wins...then when they do bid high they get scammed.

It is a scam, they say that they can duplicate an item for you and when you give them the item they run off with it. I forgot about that one till moo mentioned it =p

Dark, I think I posted something about that in the Anti-Hack thread. Change your pass and recorvery questions as soon as you can. I knew someone who gave there password to their BEST FRIEND and was hacked by them.
