Foundation Clan

One of my friends asked me if I wanted to join a clan, I told him I was already in one but asked to see the webpage anyways lol. I looked around their site and they seem to be a lot like the UFF. I've spoken with their leader and he's thinking about joining us, I told him to post something about it here. Anyways just wanted to let ya'll know thumb.gif

Hello, I'm Houseofpain co-leader of Foundation. Asadorn as you know came by our site and informed us about UFF, and I have come to graciously offer an alliance.

Frylock, if you can check them out that would be great =p

Their rules aree basically what our values are, and their leadership positions are appointed by how you do stuff in the clan so they're really not that different from us.

You'll have to talk to our leader Frylock9, but i think an alliance would be good for both clans.

Foundation Clan has no level requirements from what I can see, which is a good thing.

Their rules are not oppressive.

I do have concern regarding their ranks system. Mostly this works for them to create infrastructure rather than heirarchy but I can see with ranks as Kings and Lords, they have begun to slip into the mold of other clans, but they have not traveled far in that direction as yet it seems.

Should Foundation Clan chose to reject all ranks of authority while maintaining its functional infrastructure, they will be heading in the direction to become on with us as United Freedom Fighters.

* * *

I therefore recommend that the clanleader of Foundation Clan, houseofpain, and the members of Foundation Clan read the UFF values on our homepage so that they may be well familiar with who and what we are as a Runescape movement. They should see if they are in agreement with our values and if they will stand for freedom from restrictive clan rules and against lordship over others in Runescape.

It is important for a clanleader of a UFF Movement clan not to exercise lordship over others and to demonstrate strong practice of UFF values. I would like to ask houseofpain what he thinks and how he feels about the UFF values, cause and movement.

I commend Asadorn for his demonstration of UFF values in his working to further the cause of the United Freedom Fighters Movement.

* * *

No one actually decides or authorizes a clan to join in the UFF Movement. We simply recognize if a clan is UFF or isn't. This is shown by actions that demonstrate UFF cause and by words put to action that are in agreement with our values.

In UFF you are what you do. If a clan shows itself as United Freedom Fighters, then this is what they are. As I am Visionary Founder of the UFF Clan by what I do, I can say most sincerely that the FOUNDATION of a Runescape clan in purpose, vision and values is important. We of UFF esteem our values most highly as we are led by these, rather than by rules.

I ask Frylock9, our new Visionary Clanleader to observe and consider. Thank you.

Be free and be yourselves.

Frylock9, what I would like to ask is if you, as you are Visionary Leader of UFF, if you would chat with "houseofpain" and help familiarize himself with the UFF Movement.

I've done some of the leg work to check out the Foundation clan website, but you should step in foremost to negotiate this.

To further comment on Foundation clan, I do recognize that their ranks are based in what clanmembers do in their clan, which I think is good. Nonetheless, because they use ranks for this can eventually cause problems of a heirarchal structure which may lead to lordship.

I ask and recommend that our Visionary Leader, Frylock9, check out the Foundation clan, get to know them, and establish clan relations which Asadorn opened the door of opportunity to build friendships herein.

If you need help or have question, feel free to ask me. Our homepage for UFF at http://dokimos.org/runescape and our records of posts regarding clans joining the UFF movement will be helpful to everyone about this. TheSmile.gif

Remember that in UFF we all are what we do. We are not about pinning titles. This is something we most essentially need to emphasize with everyone about who we are as United Freedom Fighters.

Thanks, Fry!

Our alliance of clans in the UFF Movement is one where we all recognize each other as UFFs. This is something that should be well understood.

UFF does not offer "alliances" as that is done by SeeD and is something that SeeD most seriously weighs and discusses, taking much time and involvement.

Joining SeeD is simple. Clans joining the UFF movement is less so complicated but we do easily recognize those who share our common values.
