Why Did You Join This Clan?

I was at Ardougne at the time stealing cakes from the cake stall and there was a small recruitment drive (sort of) going on. There were two guys, one of them was called *something*Black*something* (don't remember) and the other was Ratzarooney(sp?). Both approached me to join a clan, the first one was that *blah*Black*blah* guy he asked me to join a clan and I said sure since I was looking to mingle with some other runescape players. He said I had to give him my email so he could send me the details of how to join but I soon became disnterested and so did he. Straight after Ratz approached me and asked me to take a look at the SeeD website and think about joining... so I did. I came to the site then wondered into the forums and browsed around. What enticed me the most was the friendly aura given off by the people in this clan/community and I liked it so I decided to fill an applicaiton. And here I am now.

No, I'm sure it was Ratzarooney.

I was in a clan by the name of "The Pkers"... It was a pretty dull clan. One day it fell apart. All the members started fighting, and it was all chaos!
Well, I pretty much gave up on clans. Then Argentine14 suggested this clan, and so I signed up. I wanted to find a peaceful clan, not a pking clan. SeeD is perfect

Well, I was getting bored of RS (at a whopping level of... well, somewhere in the high 20s) and decided to look at my old EQ guild's site. It was gone, but I had a look 'round the Internet Archive and found the messageboard. I tried contacting a few people, but could only reach one person. We discussed reforming the guild as an RS clan, but he said he had played before and didn't like it. His brother played, however, and he said he would contact me. Unfortunately that never happened, so I decided to recreate the Fellowship of the Orb on my own. Bad idea ("U dont hav full rune! U suk! I not in ur clan dood.") as I quickly learned.
Later on I figured that I might as well join a clan (that's my reason). Out of the ones I could find on RSC, the only promising one that I could get into was the Newbie PKers, lead by Kick My Dog and Silly Goat. Unfortunately about 100 people joined, and only 5 or so (including me, Silly and KMD) were active, so it pretty much fell apart.
Awhile afterwards, Zaknifan (a real-life friend who recently left RS and SeeD, though he wasn't really active) decided to try starting the Fellowship of the Orb again, but under a different name. We planned it off and on, but always planned not to make it public until we were both level 50 with full rune. In the end we decided we weren't making any progress (ironically, I accidentally deleted the site the next day) and gave up. However, while we were planning it I came upon Cscape's (yup, "Cscape") guide to starting a clan on RSC. After deciding to not make a clan of my own, I went to the SeeD site, liked what I saw, and joined.

Those who will remember, will speak fondly of the warm morning breeze.
