This is like a reality show. A person comes forward with something that some people don't like, someone spazzes out about how the person is wrong, then someone gets defensive, then someone feels threatened and friends join in, someone else spazzes out...

How about this suggestion? If anyone is going to debate this topic, for or against what has already been said by someone, respond without saying "you" or a reference to a specific member. Debate the topic, not the person who is saying it.

It is easy to discredit a person by attacking his/her character. It's another thing to debate the topic at hand by providing or countering ideas... If an idea makes sense, who said it shouldn't matter.

If an idea doesn't make sense, tell why it doesn't make sense, not why Soandso is wrong. That doesn't make sense? Sounds like both alternatives are the same? If so then read into my statement beyond the literal meaning.

If one needs to attack someone to get a point across, the point is probably worthless because it obviously can't hold water without a distraction.

This also includes mockery.

This situation requires more then "everyone settle down and play nice" those are just bands aids on a ever growing problem of inter-clan fighting. You maybe part of GOH or UFF etc, but in the end we are all SeeD, one big community. We need a meeting or some {expletive hax0rd by Cspace}, im no clan leader or anything but seriously cut the crap and talk sensibly about this, Nate every other GOHer who comes on I and im sure others want to hear what you have to say on this on all this inter-clan flamming but please do it sensibly and in a straight forward and concise manner. And the same goes to UFFers guys just talk about this, there is no need to insult each other, its like try to put a fire out with napalm.
