If Bungie really wants to keep people interested in Halo 2 for atleast a couple years until Halo 3 comes out, then they should really look into creating downloadable weapons, vehicles, etc via Xbox Live. Quite a few extra maps are available for download, but i'd really like to see some news weapons or vehicles. There was some talk a couple years ago about Bungie adding snowmodbile-esque vehicles and boats to the game. I'd really enjoy that happening. What do you guys think?

Jake is right, each map has spawn points for the vehicles and weapons, so. You cant download extra weapons and vehicles, the current maps just wont shot them. Bungie has to make the maps with the weapons embedded into it biglaugh.gif

Each map is like a package. It has it's own set of guns, spawnpoints, vehicules, character models, etc. So to have more stuff bungie needs to update EVERY MAP and let everyone download EVERY MAP. and assuming they could do that there would be too many modders in all the maps (at least that's bungie's view but nobody cheats with modding anymore they "bridge")
