Well cspace our current plan is to post in req. clans and get the word of uff out.
There are many high levels that are in req. clans but dont want to be but have no idea where else to go.
If we show those people uff's ideas then maybe they can be freed from oppresion from SOME overlording leaders.
We will force nobody to join us, we'll just show em another path.

Just curious, what is it that you plan to post there? That might have something to do with how these clans see UFF as well, if it's like some of the things I've seen posted around here

For actual progress to be made, in my opinion, it would be much more effective to show by example instead of create an argument with 95% of the Runescape world (many of whom are full of themselves and won't listen to anything regardless of how much sense it makes).

Well, posting in req clans can make enemies with them. In effect, you'd be advertising your clan to another clan, even if that's not the way you would intend. If one enters the req clan doing this, he/she will probably end up banned or shunned. If more than one enters the req clan, it could make a physical enemy that will come to UFF to cause problems in return.

That's where my point comes in... This can easily happen if UFF focuses on UFF instead of everyone else, and tries to go mainstream. Instead of trying to prove 95% of the clan community wrong, provide a place for the 5% to go. Advertise UFF as being a great clan without requirements, instead of as a refuge of sorts while alienating the clans you wish to show a different path. Post on the RS communities, grow, and that 5% is more than enough to make UFF a major player in this whole thing, and one that will be respected.
You don't need to go to other clans to tell them that they're wrong, you could instead go mainstream, get known, and show them why a non-req clan is good.

Please note that UFF is not the one putting up dividing barriers because we recognize those in our movement as those who resist restrictive clanning.
The ones placing up the barriers are those who do the restrictive clanning.
Just because they have been doing that for a long time and have been well established doing that, doesn't make them right.
Not only do they want to keep their barriers up, some even want us to give up the simple recognition of those who share in our movement.
The questions are being directed in the wrong direction. UFF is being put under fire. The questions need to be directed toward why exclusive clans seek to place their barriers own within SeeD and why they persecute us.
UFF is not obligated to approve of restrictive and exclusive clanning and opening ourselves to be recruited by everyone and anyone. We are entitled to speak out our values of our own movement and in our own defence.
Please notice how there are those who seek to control us and others. This is the very thing we of UFF most dislike.
