Well...Yesterday I saw this guy on RS who was lvl 54 and had a Rune Skimmy and I said to him that my friend was lvl 30 something and had one and cud nearly use...And he said he had one at lvl 21 and cud use. Lie or not? Discuss.

That is true, his friend might of been a pure of only attack. In Runescape classic, you can be a level 13 with a rune weapon.

It's quite possible. I done it myself.

IMO, Rune Armor is more impressive than just using a weapon, since it shows off more, people are able to notice it more when they see your lvl and are all "Wtfm8?!". Plus, it's a bit more difficult to raise only Def while keeping ATK at 5 and STR at 1.

I would keep adding DEF lvls to that guy and find someone to give him free dragon... But I'm WAY too lazy for that.

Yesterday I was dewling and I chalengedd a lvl 37 (I was lvl 40) he was wearing addy baxe and full addy and he "pwned" me in a few moves, I think he was a STR pure.

He also could have gotten his hands on some super sets, unless you had potions turned off.

But... To be wielding and weaing adamant and be a STR pure seems to defeat the purpose. Especially at lvl 37. Seems hard to believe how if his STR was high enough naturally, he'd just be 37.

And Moo, I wouldn't specifically say training a DEF pure isn't "difficult", just tedious as HELL.

i think its called train ur attck or def one combat mod and train on that till 40 and no other combat stat till u get rune if thats what you mean?
