I've been working on a rather large update to DarkStorm, and most of it doesn't involve physical changes to the forums (I've been holding off until the other stuff is close to finished). However, I've gotten to the point where forum updates are in progress. This means that some things will be appearing with no rules or storylines behind them. The greatest anomaly of this sort involves space regions and "control" references.

You can obviously look at them, I didn't make them invisible, but please try not to interact with them.

This includes a sudden appearance of "military" starships from various locations. They cannot be attained yet.

I also have been receiving more and more questions about DarkStorm, and I would recommend that everyone holds off on updating their characters. If you haven't made a character before and are interested in starting, I will sincerely ask that you wait. Many changes are coming and it wouldn't be worth going through the learning process again in a matter of days.

I do not have a set date for the update to be finished. It depends on real-life factors. It could be done tonight, it could be done this weekend, it could be done some other time. It'll probably be sooner rather than later. But until then, just sit tight.
