[Darkness]

As the blast of energy from Neraphym's staff hits the Centurion, it begins to glow a violent red, then a bright orange, and then a glowing yellow. It shakes violently, and then, suddenly, as it's a white so bright it hurts to look at it, there's a sound as if the sun just exploded, and rocks fly everywhere. And everywhere includes at the three adventurers and their familiars.

A humongous rock with a sharp point in the end hits the Cosmic Elemental, and it is flattened and crushed against a wall. Neraphym loses contact with it as it is destroyed.

A hail of small, sharp rocks bombard Rhesal, and he takes 512 damage.

Several rocks the size of baseballs fly at Reikin, and he takes 634 damage.

The falling rocks hit against the rolls, and parts of the cave start to cave in! Most of the cave-ins are in the forward direction, but some are backwards and some are above them! In fact, several rocks fall on Neraphym and he takes 1402 damage!

[Neraphym]

Neraphym removes himself from the rubble, grumbling about the fact the the cave almost killed him.

[Snowy]

Rhesal stands on his feet, and removes a 3 inch long rock that was stuck in his arm. He winced a little then tossed it away. "Alright let's get the next clue." Rhesal sheathed his Knight's Sword and walked over to Neraphym.

[Neraphym]

"Hey, Reikin, you in there?"

Neraphym looks at the pile of rubble and waits. He hears some muffled sounds comming from within.

"Keep working at it and you'll be out in no time. We're going on ahead. Catch up with us once you're out."

With that, Neraphym and Rhesal dart off deeper into the cave.

[Darkness]

The two continue on, but they feel like they're forgetting something...

[Snowy]

As they walk swiftly along Rhesal feels a stiff pain in the back of his neck. He tries to brush it away but it doesn't go away. He plucks out a tiny grain from the back of his neck and realizes it's a tiny pebble. "God I think we are going to need to see a Doctor soon Neraphym. I don't know if I can take another Guardian." Rhesal cracked his neck and stared forward.

[Neraphym]

OOC: *is annoyed*

BIC: Neraphym runs back, grabs his torch, then darts off again deeper into the cave...

[Snowy]

Rhesal pulls out his clue scroll and says,"The Badlands?"

[Bashae]

Reikin finally pulls himself out of the rubble and dusts himself off. He catches up to Rhesal and Neraphym, and quickly casts:

- Healing Aura (2000): EC=0; Effect = Recovers as many HP as your post count divided by two (rounded up): Heals wounds.

on the whole group. He simply follows them from there on; he was not the leading type.

[Neraphym]

Neraphym gets turned around and comes back upon the area of the cave were he started. He notices something strange about some of the rocks. He goes over to investigate.

"Hmm, these look like the rocks that our recently felled friend was made of.."

Neraphym takes a closer look.

[Darkness]

Neraphym finds a small, slightly burnt piece of paper...

[Neraphym]

Neraphym picks up the paper and reads it.

[Darkness]

The paper reads...

"To have come this far, strong you must be
But if I were you, I would now flee
Though if you wish to continue on
And be the King, not a mere pawn
Then go ye to a land of wood
A land of mage misunderstood
Where once was guests' awareness lost
When spirits ruled, will never crossed"

[Neraphym]

"Another clue."

Neraphym reads the clue aloud. After some thought, he makes a suggestion.

"Perhaps this clue is referring to a land I recently fought in... a place known as the whipsering woods. It fits this clue well. Come, let us go there!"

Neraphym and company exit the cave.

[Bashae]

Reikin whistles and his steed comes to take him away.
