Mirc is a VERY popular program for chat. Javachat is a cheap crappy sub for it.

An Executable is the thing you click on that makes a program work Aurorun.exe Mirc.exe Civ.exe

the directory is the location (or folder) a file is in.

the other stuff are mirc commands like /nick /me

Okay, I downloaded mIRC. But irc.matrix-chat.net OR seedchat isn't on there. So I tryed typing it in. Only problem is, it requires a password. Something I can't access unless I'm an op.

(I'm not trying to use reverse psycology is THAT'S what your thinking. )

Remember, if anyone would like to be an op (getting a little more limited now), please provide the name you register on the chat.

The command is
/msg nickserv register <password> <email>

Just don't include the brackets.

The position basically only requires activity and a little responsibility. No stress, but please be active if you would like the position.

Hmm.. I need to get back into the habit of getting on Chat, it can be a lot of fun when it's active.

My name got unregistered a while ago, if you could add me back to the OP list as Goto I'd be grateful. If you're trying to revitalize the chat and hand out some new positions there, it might be good to make the most of the several different levels available. Voiced, HOP, AOP and SOP.

Hehe, I'm on the chat nearly every night now. It's getting more and more popular.

I'm on a lot, so I wouldn't mind being an op.

And about the bot- yeah. I've given up. It requires a password of some sort to type in irc.matrix-chat.net in mIRC.

Edit: I've been made an op, but everytime I log out, I'm not an op anymore. Ideas to fix this?
