First, I would like to ask, that people not use this topic/poll to flame jagex, or rant about how they got a raw deal. I have heard enough sob stories about it for certain lol.

The reason I made this is so that people who have been banned(muted, forum-banned etc) at one point or another can help to show how things go with jagex a majority of the time, by becoming a statistic lol.

Not many of us have been banned... our community as a whole usually tries to avoid doing things to bring about being banned...

I got hacked then the hacker used my account to scam. I got banned. I appealed. Turned down. Quit.

Scammed, then haxed, appealed, and got a response saying "We'll try." (This being back when RS had less than around 3,000 players.

Denied, quit.

Came back, played, busted loads of scammers and haxers, Modded. <3

Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".

Hmm.. Got banned once for saying 'Trimming armor!' at some insanely populated P-Mod area with a few J-Mods, so appealed, got turned down with a response saying something for an explanation like 'We have proof you were in control of your account at the time.' as if my appeal had been saying I hadn't been the one saying it, waited for the ban to end, came back for a few days, then quit from boredom

Never been banned. Got a private message from someone impersonating as Jagex staff saying that they lost my password from a virus. Told the guy if he really was from Jagex that he would be pming me. Tested him to see what he would say. Decided to have a little fun with the guy and reported him later on. But it's amazing what people will try to do to hack your account.
