Hey Viet -- if you like School Rumble and "school life"-based comedies, Azumanga Daioh is a good bet.

I didn't really like AD. I think it's cause it didn't have much of a plot.

Nope, not much plot there... but it's freakin' hilarious.

Nobody understands Fully Kuri, but it's the awesomeness anyway.

To be honest I didn't find it as funny as most people say it is. icon_sweatdrop.gif

Azumanga Daioh is a "hit or miss" anime most of the time. Regardless of whether you find it funny or not, it's something basically everyone can relate to. The fact that it *doesn't* have some grand plot surrounding it all and focuses entirely on everyday life of normal (or semi-normal...) people makes the characters seem more real. Whether it appeals is up to the tastes of the individual.

Furi Kuri... just not my type of anime.

Azumanga Daioh is a lot of fun, but you need a fairly particular sense of humour or it'd just appear stupid.

I saw an episode or two of FLCL, didn't think all that much of it.

Now that CN is playing bleach, I can finally watch it! I saw the first episode, and I know I'm going to like the series.

1. InuYasha
2. Fullmetal Alchemist
3. Gundam Wing
4. Rurouni Kenshin
5. Zoids Chaotic Century
6. YuYu Hakusho
7. Bleach (only seen 1 episode, but I liked!)
8. Avatar*
9. Evangelion
10. Naruto

*I am not sure if this counts as an anime. For those of you who don't know, Avatar: The Last Airbender is a nickelodeon animated series (nanime). I really enjoy it so far. It's very original and gives me a reason to watch nickelodeon other than Legends of the Hidden Temple.

Heh, I recorded it along with the first episode of Trinity Blood. Haven't had a chance to watch yet, though... I'd better, since the second episodes are on tomorrow night bluetongue.gif

Also, Legends of the Hidden Temple is awesome. Didn't know it was still on. (Reruns, I assume? I haven't seen it since... probably when I was in elementary school)

...za? If you saw it, it wasn't on CN ([as] actually; it's now a separate channel for purposes of ratings). The first episode premiered last Saturday... which was when Alpha watched it and I recorded it. Hence the discussion about it being on [as] now.

They started playing Eureka 7 and Bleach in Canada as well XD I've only read the manga for Bleach, so watching the anime won't be as exciting.

I wouldn't recommend Trinity Blood. I guess if you watch it once a week it's not so bad but if you try to watch more then 3 episodes together, it's not so great.

Y'know, it's kinda weird seeing Cres talk about AND recommend Azumanga Daioh... bluetongue.gif

Well I guess I'll give a shot at updating my list, I've seen quite a few more since last time, but I still haven't seen heaps since I've gotten lazy. bluetongue.gif

Listy:

1. Azumanga Daioh (yes it's still at first!!)
2. Bleach
3. Fullmetal Alchemist
4. Fate-Stay Night
5. Samurai Champloo
6. Serial Experiments Lain
7. Love Hina
8. Escaflowne

Now I'm sure I've seen some more... but I really can't think of them at the moment. icon_sweatdrop.gif

I have two stacks of anime CDs to watch thanks to my brother... Next one I might try out is Neon Genesis Evangelion. I might watch Naruto last after seeing how many eps there are... eek7.gif

I could do movies... but they're just mostly all by Hayao Miyazaki... so yeah. bluetongue.gif

^^ Thanks Ayumi, you rock!! ^^

How many five-year-olds could you take in a fight?
Red Carnation, Hibiscus. Spiderflower. White Violet... Peony?

Break apart Naruto. The first half of every episode is a recap of the last half of the previous episode...
