Well I just finished reading this article from bit-tech about interfaces on computing. Also it seems there is a touch screen at a University that actually has touch and audio feedback.

The touch screen is very cool! I think that would be a fun consumer item if they develop it within a few years bluetongue.gif .

I saw that at least 6mnths ago and it is realy cool. But ill stick to mouse and key board.

Very interesting stuff. Multitouch screens still seem a bit limited in that you're interacting in two dimensions, with any luck eventually we'll have something a little more natural. A much more sophisticated version of something like the Wiimote, perhaps? Or even the possibility of VR interaction, eventually.
