Unfortunatly most of the trading and banking information within Runescape is kept secret, it has something to do with Saradomins Data Protection Act... Sincerely The RuneScape support team *********************************** On 23rd August 2003 you sent us the following: Hi guys. I was wondering if it is possible to calculate, or if you know already, what the GDP of RuneScape as a whole is and some of the larger cities. May the Gower Mages and their assistants live forever, Humble RuneScapian Grimbold *********************************** If you require further support please visit the Customer Support area at: http://www.runescape.com and submit another query |
Hmm... Think there is some reason behind this, or they really just don't know and don't care? I don't know...

Gross Domestic Product - If I remember correctly, it's the amount of money a city (or country) exports annually. If not, I'm still 100% sure it deals with economics, money, and shipping.
Those who will remember, will speak fondly of the warm morning breeze.

Yes, I believe that Phieta is correct. Lol, I don't see why Jagex would keep it a secret though. For some reason I don't think they actually know. They probably have information about every trade, but not totals because there isn't a whole lot they can do to fix the "RS economy" other than make skills harder (would get people angry) or just reset the database (which would probably put their lives in danger
).
Or on the other hand, when graphed with the total users, it could be used to calculate the average amount of money/items everyone has. This would mostly be important for new items though (the pricing of non-skill made items).
