Ladders For Non-MMO Games?

This wouldn't be too difficult to implement if we have someone to organize each... But what would everyone think of ladders for certain games? A sort of ranking for our members in various games that enough of us play. They could start with a tournament, and from there a ranking list could be maintained as people are challenged. These could be games like Warcraft III, or like what are on Yahoo Games or somewhere like that.

Not much else to say, so... Discussion?

I think a Yahoo Games ladder or something like that would be quite fun. We'd have to have sufficient activity to make it worthwhile, though.
