Aye. What really bugs me about it though is, that his family was out trekking, and the whole world found out about his death before his family found out.

The guy was one of a kind. He was a true conservationist and will forever be missed. Rest in peace Steve Irwin.

his death wasnt so much australia losing an icon as the world losing a hero who everyone thought of as invincible. i always figured hed die in his 60's by a monstrous and overly aggresive croc, so much for that theory...
