Had some cool games... ninja gaiden, halo, fable, elder scrolls... lots of these also playable on a computer. Never played much X-Box, but I guess it is worth checking out.
PS2:
I pretty much only got a PS2 for Final Fantasy. FFX, FFX2, KH, KH2. I tried other game series like Armored Core, but they've gone down a path I can't follow. Dark Cloud and DC2 were really fun. I got stuck on Xenosaga and never finished it... Dragon Quest was a huge disappointment. Star Wars Battlefront was freakin amazing, as was SWBF2!
Gamecube:
If not for Final Fantasy, this would definitely be my favorite. Windwaker, while a fun game, was a sucky version of Zelda. OoT was 10x better. Mario Sunshine.... sucked. I quit playing it in disgust. They will never outdo the awesomeness of Super Mario 64. Phantasy Star Online and Legends of Symphonia were 2 amazing rpgs. Skies of Arcadia was kinda fun, but the battle system sucked. It made up with a pretty intriguing story and neat premise. Rogue Squadren pwnz. Metriod and Echos were gods. Star Fox didn't live up to its N64 incarnation...
X-Box 360 is enjoying a lot of early success. The PS3 is making some interesting, but imo unwise decisions. I'd still get it if just for Final Fantasy games. Nintendo is still alive, and they come out with some pretty good NEW games. They totally destroy their sequels, though. Hopefully they will move away from this when they launch the Wii.

OoT: Sequel
Super Mario 64: Sequel
Phantasy Star Online: Sequel
Tales of Symphonia: Sequel
Rogue Squadron: Sequel
Metroid Prime 1&2: Sequels
I'm aware that PSO and ToS aren't Nintendo titles, but I think my point still stands. I think saying Nintendo destroys their sequels when every Nintendo game you listed was a sequel of an earlier title is a bit strange.

With the cancellation of so many games and a lot of titles moving over to the Xbox 360. Their in for a rough ride for the next year or so. To make matters worse, Microsoft is releasing better and easier development tools for the Xbox 360. Along with the XNA platform where "supposedly" some games are going to allow players on the PC and the Xbox 360 to compete. So yeah...their up the creek without a paddle big time. Their going to need some serious revamping and hauling tail if their going to want to win the Next Gen war.

PS3 - After price drop, yes.
Wii - Yes, i shall get 2 so i can go Wii Wii!

Xbox doesn't catch my eye as being worth it. I like a couple of the games, but i can get them on other consoles. PS3 has Final Fantasy as well as other games i like. And i've always been a Nintendo fan, not to mention Wii is the cheapest, so i may just go for that. I like the idea of it being backwards compatable too. Not sure what i think of the controller yet, but i'll decide when i've tried it out. I'd rather just plug a GC controller in and play with that.
