A lot of us still play RS, and many have been asking about getting the faction going again. We had a chat today, and many want to do something to help. It's going to be easy if we work on it a little, we just need some organization and a goal.

We have a faction leader, Masterstuff ("Master of Stuff" on the forums), and Star Jedi is also taking a part in the leadership of the faction. They are more-or-less the current directors of that faction, and at the moment they should be contacted for most faction-related queries or suggestions.

For those who didn't know for some reason, I have not been the faction leader in Runescape for a while, and I cannot really help a ton with in-game things. The only way I can really help in-game right now would be at f2p events, although I plan to assist with online promotion.

SeeD is member-led, however, and we need others to take up leadership positions as well. This is critical for how SeeD works. We'll need members to focus on events, promotion, and just plain getting to know people. Activity, promotion, and networking are necessary for the faction to work. We have all the tools necessary to do it, we just need members who wish to take a part.

Activity without promotion will prevent expansion. Promotion without networking will cause members to disappear or feel lost. Networking without activity will prevent SeeD from feeling like a clan.

If we fulfill all three, our RS Faction will become strong again. We already have a lot of physical traffic from RS sites, and if we post around and start doing stuff, registrations will start coming.

So if we want the RS faction to feel active again in an organized way, let's do something about it. We aren't dead, but we're not organized. Once we organize and set in place an actual goal, I think everyone will be surprised with what will happen.

Lol, I think Charlie would be wonderful at being an events manager..She's already made several successful events through the past months, which have helped *tremendously* with getting everyone together.

But anyways, just my opinion, and the more who want to help with managing events, the better I'm sorry I can't do much helping with events, since my schedule tends to be quite..crazy, but I will definitely help out as much as I can: please ask if you need help..with anything at all.

Again, I like RS and I like doing stuff with SeeD, but I have no time to play and no money for membership. I do have one or two events "on the back burner" in planning stages, but they'll take some preparation before I can get them going. :\

Activity without promotion doesn't seem to be an issue, at least not to me.

Promotion without networking... we've got networking in spades. The only time we didn't have networking was when UFF was here; generally SeeDs avoided Winhill and UFFs avoided the rest of the forums. As to the problem you mentioned (members disappearing or feeling lost), we do have that, but not for that reason. We have new members feeling lost because we're unorganized.

Networking without activity is our main problem at the moment. As I've said before, at this point we're not so much a clan as we are a group of people who chat with each other on a message board and either used to play RS or still play RS.

I really feel terrible, I mentioned to someone www.runescape.com at school, this guy was a huge jock, played football, baseball, you name it, he started two days ago. He's now level 15, has barely gotten any sleep, getting worse and worse grades, stopped practicing spots.
