Yes, folks, that's right. Tomorrow (Tuesday), like every September 19, is International Talk Like a Pirate Day. I will, of course, be celebrating the occasion. (Why am I not talking like a pirate right now? Because I'm on the left coast and it's still September 18. Shut up, future peoples.)

There are many ways to celebrate ITLaPD, but of course the most obvious and by far the most common is to... well, talk like a pirate. So do it! All day and night, September 19.

Pirate costumes are not necessary, though I've decorated my fedora for the occasion. (Pics will be up in a moment; my computer is acting strangely and, among other things, ignoring my camera.)

Also, I'm posting this in Announcements because ITLaPD is ridiculously important. Also, the board isn't letting me add events to the calendar for some reason.

Side (my left). Yes, that is a cloisonne pin of a Mickey Mouse "ear hat" with a piratey bandanna and earring. The "feather" is maroon and white because those are my school colors and the Order of the Black Fedora (in real life) is a fraternity.

This day interesting CAN take place on Legend of the Green Dragon as well. Similar to the drunk filter, it slurs your speech and places random hiccup based on how drunk you are, for those that don't play, I expect a similar thing like that like random "Yarrrs" and what not. I dunno, we'll see if Cspace has it on the server.

One of our security guards, Steve, has apparently been drinking again, and is demanding to be called "Steve the Pirate". We took him out back and made him walk the plank shortly after this latest in a long line of drunken escapades.

It was nice and all, untill I noticed I lost one of my crew >_>
