Lucy bobbed his head once. "You don't know? Hrm...Never seen the world outside of your window, or something? I must admit...Without seeing these kinds of phenomenon upclose, it's hard to believe the fairy tales you hear. But I fought in the war, and I saw terrific and terrible machines that destroyed and rebuilt matter like I've never known. I've seen things that are beyond fairy tales, laddie-buck. But yes. Perhaps this waterfall of healing exists...Why not? Might be some protective forest creatures near by though...Nymphs, Satyrs, who knows."
he paused, speculating. "I think I'll go. I want to see it for myself."

"Oh no! Not at all like that!" Resiak said trying to cover his ignorance. "I've..." He knew it was useless to lie. he couldn't come up with a good alibi.
"No. I've never seen anything like that, personally.. I HAVE heard stories, but.. those weren't too illustrated. All I have to go off is stories I've heard from people that tell them. No one on one encounters. I'm sure it would be a sight to behold."
Resiak hesitated to ask, but felt so inclined, he couldn't stop himself. "Mind if I run with you? I won't be too much trouble, and I'm fairly efficent with this here sword." He was practically begging. After Luciens recounts of life, he had become envious. That, and added to the fact he had NO money, NO place to stay, food, or any friends within the city.

Overwhelmed as one would be, placed in my position.
Such a heavy burden now to be "The One".
Born to bear and read to all the details of our ending
To write it down for all the world to see.

Lucien looked the human male over. "Hmmph...Yes...Well. I may have some use for you. Sure. Nothing like showing the ropes to a greenhorn. You can tag along. But do as I say when I direct it, is that clear?..." he stood, finishing his coffee. "Right. Pack up, we're moving out as soon as possible. Take only what you need. Let me worry about provisions."

Resiak stood up as straight as a nail and saluted the man (Out of habit) and shouted "CLEAR AS CRYSTAL!", much to the dismay of the random other patrons. Resiak snatched up the chain vest, quickly put it on, and stood ready for whatever the man said.
One problem.
"Who are you, again?" Resiak asked.

Lucien clapped his hands to his ears, leaning away as the eager young paladin screamed into his ear. "Ack! I'm not deaf! What do you think I've got these big honkin' ears for? Looks?! Oi...M'names Lucien...You can call me Lucy, if you want. Somebody'd just tell ya ta do it later anyway..." Another thing that easily threw off confused chaps and chapettes...The very unisex name with a female nick-name. Oi.
"C'mon then. We're wasting daylight. Let's head out."
Lucien leaves the Inn

Resiak shut up immediately, not realizing just how loud he was. Military home taught him to speak loudly, but he seemed to overdo it.
Resiak glanced into the Inn once more, and hurriedly followed Lucien to.. wherever they were off to.
