Hey everyone,

I don't know 'zactly how long it's been since I last posted... probably sometime during early September would be my guess, as that's just before school started for me. At any rate, I'm just popping in here to either A) Reassure you with news that I'm still alive, or B) Dissapoint you with news that I'm not dead yet. bluetongue.gif

Basically, thing's've been really busy, as this is my first year in high school. Granted, I've only got four classes a day with intensive scheduling, but I've got each of them for an hour and a half each, which means lots of stuff to go over at night, lots of tests 'n quizzes to study for, and, mainly in the case of Science, no shortage of homework.

I'd say I've adjusted to the fact that the new school is bigger. And the fact that there are two of them. (Long story short, a year ago, they split into two schools, and you're required to have a classes in each of them. Crazy stuff.) But, well, I'm used to that and where my classes are, but that doesn't mean I'm not very busy.

Right now, in addition to basic homework, I've now got to practice my cello, (you actually have to try now, because it's a major class that you get a grade for T~T) work on stuff for Forensics, (not like the CSI stuff, like debate stuff) work on a newspaper article when I have one, (I'm on the school newspaper - hooray for me!) in addition to whatever else I have planned in my life, like piano on Thursdays and tennis on Sundays.

Bored yet? grnwacko.gif Hehe, sorry, just wanted to use that little guy. I see the quickly clickable smilies have a revamp! ugh.gif Hehe, he's cool. borgsmile.gif And... it seems Cspace had a baby.

And, to continue my story, if that weren't enough, I'm getting braces on soon. At 14. >.< Much bleh. I'm getting spacers on in probably around a month, or whenever we scheudule it for, and then I'll have 'em on for a year and a half, or until mid- to late-10th grade, when I'm 15. Wow.

Oh, and, also, not so important, a medical problem of mine involving my kidneys has recently gone into a relapse. It's nothing too major, but it means I have to take a large dose of immunosuppressents every morning, which means my immune system isn't doing quite as well, plus, it's got weird side effects, like possibly weight gain, occasional insomnia, etc. Also, for some reason, my face swells up if I have too much salt while it's happening, so I'm on a low-salt diet.

And, that's my life in a nutshell. So, how're you guys doing? bluetongue.gif

And... now I'm getting called down for dinner, followed by which I'm going to synagogue for Yom Kippur, the Jewish Day of Atonement. Yes, I'm Jewish.

Byez!

First instance: why the heck?

Well... Apparently, a year ago, the school was applying for a million dollar science grant or something for new labs. Back then, one school was 9th and 10th, the other 11th and 12th. However, for them to receive the grant, they had to operate as one single campus. So, lo and behold, choas began its reign last year, and continues into this year. And they was much rejoicing. Or muffins. Or something. Something that's hopefully tasty.

Yay! They still wub me! biglaugh.gif Well, possibly bad choice of words, but, uh...

Yeah! icon_sweatdrop.gif

Still, in some ways, I did exaggerate the workload a bit. When I get to Algebra 2 Honors and Honors English, in addition to my gifted class in the second semester, thing'sll be a lot worse. I get 1-1.5 hours of science homework a night, but, apart from that, there's not too much. Practice cello a bit, maybe an hour's total of everything else. Nothing horrible. bluetongue.gif I just happened to have a lot going on this past week.

So, what I miss?

It's good to hear that you're at least keeping busy bluetongue.gif . High school can take a bit to adjust to, but it becomes just a regular routine after a while grnwink.gif .
