Alright guys and girls, I -really- need to get this off my chest. I don't care if people move it, as long as they don't close it (unless a flame fest starts) or delete it; it would mean a LOT to me if you people, my dear brothers and sisters for so long, would stand beside me and listen to my jargon. I don't mind your own views, just please don't direct them at me or else I'll feel obliged to respond with hostility.

If you're Catholic, immature, or just plain young, I must request that you not read this. If you are, but still read it, don't reply, or just don't give me any flak at all. I'm trying to keep it PG-13.

For those of you who don't know me, I'm Ruckus. Uncle Ruckus to a few real life friends, Ruckus Fox to others, Or simply good ol' Ruckus. I'm a furre fan. I'm also bisexual, and submissive, not many people know it here in the real world, I've decided to tell my friends near graduation, that way I can still enjoy Highschool incase they decide to shun me. e.e What this means is that I like girls AND guys, for simple reasons. I probably have a 40/60 ratio with girls and guys respectively. When you get to know me, I'm quite the feminine being. What's submissive? Well. There are two roles in a relationship, actually, you might just not know them. Dominants and Submissives. Doms regularily play the role of the Male and Submissives play the role of the female--ALWAYS--No exceptions unless stated.

Now to the rant. Oh yes, the rant! Let's start it off then!

Church: I'm sorry, Catholic people, but I hate your Religion. I've read your bible, and I don't see eye to eye on everything. Now that's okay, we can still live in harmony, can't we? No. I'll explain why.

My mum belongs to a Catholic Church. That same church is FORCING ME TO ATTEND MASS AGAINST MY FREE WILL TO TRY TO RECRUIT ME FOR THEIR FAITH! It's brainwashing, in short. They already had a flick on Abortion and they'll have one on gay marriage later. Try as I might to get out of this, my mum -really- wants to me try to do my best. So every week, I put on my coat and go out the door with the most depressed attitude I've ever had, driving for the church on the hill. They have actively ATTACKED my beliefs and my life style lately...Let me explain.

South Dakota: This is where I live...We're all rednecks, 'cept me and my friends, we're all computer geeks. These yoinkles barely even try to understand why anyone would want to be gay, bi, etc. And soon, we're having a vote on whether Abortion should be illegal. YES! THAT'S RIGHT KIDS! THE CHURCH IS GOING POLITICAL! This is not good. Churches are meant to sit there, smile, and pass around the donation basket, not meddle with our affairs. This amendment would also mean that ALL FORMS OF ABORTION ARE ILLEGAL, EVEN IN RAPE CASES AND INCEST! This is -not- right.

They also want to stand behind Bush and say "Yes! Yes! Ban gay marriages, Bush! Make the little faggots burn!" You people disgust me. How do you call yourselves the children of god? He is no god of mine if he makes those judgements so quickly and hastily...What a near-sighted god it would be.

Stem-Cell Research: Okay...we already talked about Abortion, and now we have an aborted fetus. What to do with it?...Well....We could throw it away, put it in a casket and be all emotional about something that we didn't want in the first place, or--GASP!--We could do something logical and have it donated to Stem Cell Research so they can hopefully find cures for new diseases. Some of those cells you're throwing away right now could mean the cure for cancer. I know you bible thumpers are going to kill me after this one--but it's essentially just "Recycling." Yeah. You heard me. It's recycling. By technical dictionary definition, you're taking something that no longer has ANY use, and making it useful by trying to find cures. I'm going to leave that one alone before the hate mail pokes my eye out.

Homophoebia: Okay, I don't know what I, or any other same-sex loving being ever did to you, but why do you hate us? I don't want to hear "It's not natural"--How do you know that? Natural actions come from instinct. If it's natural to like girls and ONLY girls, why haven't I changed? And why hasn't adaptation moved me? I 'unno. Maybe because it's NOT NATURAL!

I think the only thing I hate more than people that are biased against gays are people who don't mind gays, but are biased against their 'actions.' Gee, sorry little Timmy, I didn't know that you're allergic to butt sex, I'll go call the "waaah-mbulance" to come and pick you up, 'kay? Grow a pair, be mature about it, realize that people won't change just for you.

You can't step up onto a platform and say "WORLD! BOW TO ME!" Heck, Brooklyners would cuss you out in a eleven hundred different ways for making that demand; wonderful place, Brooklyn, very angry, but nice in their own way...

I'm going to stop here. It's about time that I left. I'm going to be quiet and simply ignore the hate mail that flows in. If you want to talk to me WITHOUT me ignoring you, it'll have to be directly through IM's, I'll delete all the rest.

I just want you people to reflect, learn from what I am troubled with, and formulate your own opinions. You live in America (most of you anyway...) where free speech and free mindfulness are your rights! Don't EVER let some guy at an alter mumbling a dead language ever tell you what you HAVE to be or what you HAVE to do.

I'm going to end with some rather nice quotes so that you can calm down and reflect. Typing this has helped, and, I hope that the mod-team will respect my choice and not touch this unless a flame fest breaks out.

Call me a fag, queer, whatever, I'm free.

Hey ruckus nice post sorry to hear that about the church thing. But Id like to clear a thing up cause I feel your hating on people like me. You say alot of people are biased against what two guys do romantically or sexually, well some of them arent really biased they just arent interested in man on man affairs. Take me for example, one of my best friends were gay in middle school and before I began hanging out with him I told him I wasnt gay and that I wasnt and wouldnt be interested in other guys. Now I didnt tell him this to say ''ewww your sick'' I said this so he knew what my preferances are. And like I said its not because of a belief or anything Its more of preferances, and I dont see anything wrong with it. People can pick a color, can pick a car, can pick what to eat, but they cant pick who they would want to be with?... well hope this helps a bit, everyones not as close minded as you think. Have a good'n

Hmmm... Something tells me that something's been going on here while I've been busy with school. icon_sweatdrop.gif Or, well, something like that.

Just, me start off - thanks for giving the warning in the beginning. There's a bunch of people who probably are offended by this, and it's nice that you can at least respect them by giving them fair warning and such.

I can't exactly say I know what it means to have beliefs, er, forced onto you... I'm Jewish, and... Uh, yeah, that's about it. bluetongue.gif My positions on some of the issues you brought up... Simply put, I've got similar views to you. I think that sometimes, people can be a bit too rigid with their beliefs and not accept some of those things, regardless of whether or not they should, but, well, that's just me. Personally, I'm neutral to pro-gay marraige, or, at any rate, not against it, and mega-pro-stem cell research, having done a large-scale research project on stem cells, and taking the view of many leaders of my religion.

But, well, off that.

You've got every right to be pissed here. To have beliefs forced upon you is simply not how it should be - they're beliefs - as in, what you believe, and attempting to change someone's beliefs, while sometimes understandable, is really going a bit far in this case. However, to a point, you can't blame your mother - she was raised with those beliefs, and has carried them all her life. Naturally, your parents will want to pass their teachings onto you, and this is no exception. Still, again, back to the obvious - what you believe is what you believe, and it shouldn't be forced onto you. If you so choose to disagree with the religion and do your own thing, that should be fine with them, so long as it's not something dangerous or whatever. Like, Satan-worship. Or something. (I'm Jewish - I know nothing about what I just mentioned. bluetongue.gif)

And, just a mention - your church, in a sense, has the right to go political. Though, in a way, it also doesn't. I mean, there's nothing wrong with a bunch of people going out and picketing for their beliefs. Whatever. So long as they're not going out and screaming profanities at gays while they're at it, it's fine. Not to mention that, in terms of introducing legislation, it's their right as Americans to be able to do that.

However... Separation of church and state is one of the basic principles of the United States government... If I'm not mistaken, it's in the Bill of Rights. I don't know exactly how far this extends - they can promote their beliefs, but if they're bringing full-on religion into whatever legislation they're going with, then... eh, bad.

Honestly, I don't think my speaking has helped, like, at all. Pretty much, all I've said in this long post is, "Yes, I agree with everything you said." But, well, if it helps, it helps.

@Zig
I'm glad that someone is willing to compose their own opinions here, but I must inform you that I did not read it because you did a no-no that I firmly requested and that's that you addressed me specifically. This is a "General to the public" or using the "Universal You" You stated "Ruckus" specifically. But thanks for adding your own views, I hope other people respect yours as you respected mine.

@Hyper
Thanks, mate. It really means a lot to me that you posted about this. I was well aware that you and (I think a few others) on the forum are indeed jewish, but seeing as how I haven't read the jewish bible (or...What is it that you call it? ._.;;) I wasn't too sure how you would react to it. Your views have been nice and believe it or not, they help, man. And yes, I see what you mean about the right to go political. EVERYONE has a right to go political. But free speech ends the MOMENT that you target someone, such as gays. And yes, I believe the separation of Church and State are somewhere in the Bill of Rights--Where's Base when you need him? Not that I've ever -not- needed him. And no, nothing really happened inside of the clan to cause this, it's all in my private life.

"See, I think drugs have done some *good* things for us, I really do. Well since this is a Universal Rant, I shall use OoC!

OoC: Ruckus, remember how we used to talk about hom immature I am? *turns off immaturity switch*

IC: My mother used to say, "God made Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve." So what did I do when she started bashing gays? Research! Asking local homosexuals about gay marriage and relationships. And what did I learn? That whether you smoke the pole or you fill the bowl, you should be allowed to love who you want, have sexual relations with a partner you love, and do what you want.

Other day, my girlfriend asked me, hypothetically of course, of what I would do to her sexually, if she let me. I told her I would...well....put it in the other, tighter in her case >__>, hole. She asked me why, and I said buttocks turn me on. And it's true. But you know what? That doesn't mean I'm gay. I just like girls' buttocks... so what did my girlfriend do? She went around the whole school, telling everybody, why oh why must I date the popular girls, that I was a flaming homosexual and I asked her to get a strap - on for me. Yeah. A lot of people can be immature. And while I withstood people calling me fag. queerboy, and actually throwing things at me, my heart went out to gays. Literally. It SUCKS to be hated by so many people.

OoC: Ruckus, your right about the brainwashing thing. Been resisting Christianity/ Catholocism for way too long, my parents need to realize I'm an Athiest and always will be.

Hehe. Yeah, really, beliefs don't always go with the Bible. Or, well, whatever the religion is based on. Or, at least, I don't think they do. Is there somewhere in the Catholic bible, or just Christian bible (The difference, I know not.) that says, "Gays bad!"? For all I know, there's something in the Tanakh (the Jewish bible) that disagrees with my positions.

Ah, and now it's a bit clearer on that. I actually looked it up somewhere on Wikipedia... Let's see here... From the article Separation of church and state in the United States...
QUOTE
The phrase separation of church and state is a common interpretation of the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment, which reads, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof . . . ."

First Amendment = Bill of Rights. Winz! ^^

And, the main reason I posted this... Good, to your final sentence. I was afraid that I'd missed some incident... But, either way, bleh, bleh, and bleh. _sure.gif

And, FYI - probably won't here too much more out of me for a while longer. I'm still really busy. V_V Gotta love high school, eh? Not to mention my non-existant personal life (BROODING), getting braces on in a week, kidney problem in a relapse.... yeah.

Oh, and @ Mordred - um, I understand you're use of narrative to make a point, but, eh... Little descriptive, much? I would suggest a disclaimer at the beginning of that.

I'm almost (but not quite) sure there is nothing against same gender relations in the Christian Bible. In fact, I think there have been references to it in a positive way icon_sweatdrop.gif . A bit rusty on the Bible though, not the best read really.

@ Mordred If you meant literally do I remember, no, I do not, I'm afraid. ._. Everyone changed names since I was last on...Do I know you from somewhere else? Oh, and hint hint, don't date preppy girls/popular boys. They aren't worth it.

And yeah, I know how it is, Hyper. Take it easy, 'kay? My high school career is busy as hell too, Interp and plays going on left and right and the german exchange girl just leaving, ugh.

Yeah. My furre obsession is pretty obvious and fairly extreme, but atleast I don't dress up in fur-suits; A tail and fake ears are enough for me.
