Because you are getting yourself in more trouble. You need to stop. You haven't been calming down.

If this is the your version of being calm, then you need help, sorry.

You are proving nothing while doing this! All you are showing is that you have the maturity of a 10 year old, and I'm almost sure you don't want people to think that. Luco, your just making people think that you are the "noobs" in which you are constantly taking the mick off.

You think your funny, let me give you come advice.

Go look up the definition of funny. In fact let me look it up for you.

fun·ny-Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[fuhn-ee] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation adjective, -ni·er, -ni·est, noun, plural -nies.
–adjective 1. providing fun; causing amusement or laughter; amusing; comical: a funny remark; a funny person.
2. attempting to amuse; facetious: Did you really mean that or were you just being funny?
3. warranting suspicion; deceitful; underhanded: We thought there was something funny about those extra charges.
4. Informal. insolent; impertinent: Don't get funny with me, young man!
5. curious; strange; peculiar; odd: Her speech has a funny twang.
–noun 6. Informal. a funny remark or story; a joke: to make a funny.

Now, I don't know about you, but I don't see a definition saying

- Laugh and joke, and put down people who use shorthand, or do not know something that is simple to some people.

Maybe the second definition is your version of "funny". Unfortunately, if it is, its not making people laugh. Just making people think that you are, in fact, the noob.

Im not doing to make people laugh, and thats where your going wrong. I only do it to people who are idiots, in other words people who are begging, advertising or just being plain stupid which annoys me.

Well, might I ask why you're constantly flaming people like Xmadole, or people who wants to join SeeD?

May I also ask why you constantly suck up to Bolton and Ech? I've spoken to Bolton about it, and he, like me, just considers you plain annoying.

Well consider this.

1. People who beg are noobs yes. But the fact is, a lot of our current members know used to beg like that. but look where they are know? If your gonna act like you are then your gonna scare them away and prevent them from learning that what they did was stupid.

2. Advertising, basically the same. Its okay with the bots, but for people who start a clan and advertise, they could one day find out that their clan isn't gonna work. They might come back and join SeeD! But if your gonna act the way you are, you have basically scared them off.

3. Plain stupid? What do you mean by that? Because they don't act like you want them to act perhaps?

Yes the current one im doing is number 1 but everything else that you said is well, bull{expletive hax0rd by Cspace}, the only person who i would say who is doing that is echliurn.

From what I have read from all your posts in the Runescape Factions you are the one flaming people first, ech is afterwards. Secondly, I agree with all the others that you are.... slightly.... annoying... yet another reason why I do not go on Guild Wars anymore... other than this computer not being able to run it.
Your flaming of people doesnt help recruit people for both factions... Just tone down the sarcasm and limited responses a bit and do something productive.

Maybe you don't realize this, but SeeD was established to help other players. While many (or the majority of) guilds in some games try to step over people to get to the top, SeeD has always tried to welcome others to come along for the ride. We've always welcomed everyone within reason, as opposed to engineering the member base by pushing some away and keeping others due to something as trivial as grammar. If one looks back at old threads, I think one would be surprised to see how many of our oldest members who are with us today started out speaking "n00b". If we pushed members away for something so pointless, where would we be?

I know that such comments are fine in many guilds, maybe you just didn't realize that SeeD is different. If we thought it was okay for members to push new recruits from SeeD because an individual thinks they're "plain stupid", we'd be quite unstable. We'd only have members that everyone likes, of which there may be one (Sir Spamalot of course biglaugh.gif ).

It's okay though, alongside our acceptance of members we are also willing to allow members to work things out for themselves. I personally don't think it's fair for this thread to go where it has gone, where many are voicing their opinions contrary to one member's situation (and I ask for everyone to take a step back and see the collective [possibly negative] impact of this before continuing)...

However, just remember that actions speak louder than words. If you'd like to help, it would be easier to show it than justify it through words. As for everyone else, let him think about it for himself, if there was confusion then I can guarantee there is none now. No need to rub it in further.

1. Most of the people around here started out as "idiots," as you call them, including myself. Indeed, I actually have a reason to take offence, because you are, after all, insulting me indirectly. But I digress.
2. If you're not acting this way to be "funny," but to get back at people who annoy you, what are you doing exactly? Bringing someone you don't know for being slightly irritating? Sounds like it.
3. Internet speak isn't that major is it? If it annoys you so bad, how can you stand even being on the Internet? eek13.gif
4. Some people have bad grammar and spelling, just so you know. And not all of them think to run posts through a spell checker, either. (Incidentally, your post needs an apostrophe in "Im" and "thats;" "your" needs to be "you're;" and "stupid which" needs a comma, just so you know.)
5. And, no, you are not the only one, I admit. However, you are one of the most prevalent and, well, you kind of brought yourself into this, if you recall:
QUOTE(LuCo^™ @ Nov 29 2006, 02:23 PM) {lang:macro__view_post}

Xmadole is a noob. Oh and spikeout.

Bottom line: You're not better than the "n00bs" you insult, you have been trying every one's patience, and it needs to stop. (It's not hard)
That is all.

See, I had a run in with this on RuneScape while on a lvl 3. Someone claimed that everyone but himself and the only other person higher than him were noobs.

I actually messaged him and asked, "How can it be that someone is so shallow to base a person on their level alone? You have no idea who any of us are, and are certainly in no place to judge us by our level."

Naturally, the coward logged out when faced with opposition.

So let me reword it to fit this instance. How can it be that you can tell so much about a person from.. what, a single post? You'll look at my very first post and realize, that no, I didn't type correctly. You'll also realize that it took a long time to switch me from shorthand typing to current.

And come on. I've seen Xmadole around the forums. What does he do to make him a noob? From m y observation, he seems to be a dandy member who's just posting on the boards. Nothing really to classify himself as a horrible member that sh ould be banned.

Don't get me started on Spikeout. He's one of the jazziest people I know. Always been a cool cat to hang around with. We've had some very interesting conversations.

So.. here's the deal. Everyone has good in them, SOMEWHERE. Even you do, Luco. I'm sure you do. However, it's so masked by the fact you're always so negative to everyone around, it's hard to find. Give people a chance. Try to find SOMETHING good about them, because I'm sure that if you looked, you'd find it.

*edit* longest post in a while, btw.

Well then, you don't stand for it either. Perhaps it was a misunderstanding on either part. How about we all stop, and let LuCo show for himself that we don't have anything to worry about. Maybe he didn't know how he seemed from his posts, maybe he didn't think it was wrong here, or maybe something else... It shouldn't matter, it was in the past. This thread was intended to bring about something positive, not build a disciplinary committee, so let's allow for something positive to happen. Nothing further can be gained by rehashing complaints that have already been posted by many others in this thread, even if in different words or with different examples.

If the trend continues I may close the thread. We don't need to be making enemies with each other, we're in the same guild.
