Then Came War...
When the followers of Briciu thought that all was well with their civilization, they were horribly mistaken. For 8,000 years after the creation of their great city of Quavispa, the peaceful ones (as they also are referred to) were under attack. Who would commit such a crime? Indeed it was a terrible day, for the attackers were none-other than the White Knights of Falador, pounding down on the city with all the force they had. Why would Falador attack such a peaceful city? Well, through a secret document written by only one shameful knight, Lord Arimas, the reasons became clear; At the time, Falador was at a great war with its neighbor Varrock over the a lost artifact of great power. Varrock was in search of this same artifact, and thus sent spies throughout Runescape to locate it. Since this item rightly belonged to Falador and had been secretly hidden somewhere unknown by both Falador and Varrock, it spurred a great war. While in search of the Varrock spies, The White Knights came upon the ancient city of Quavispa. Fearing that spies had found the sacred item, and were storing it in the city, the White Knights attacked the city. The Knights were merciless, sparring NO ONE who got in their path. After the hours of slaughter, buring, and pillaging, Quavispa lay as nothing more than a heap of hot ashes. Realizing that the Knights had made a grave error, they all retreated back to Falador, and continued the war their, never to mention anything of their mistake. Thus, over time, all memories of the city, as well as the god Briciu were lost. However, the war for the artifact raged on...

Through extensive digging near Al Kharid, the ancient ruins of Quavispa have been found. Artifactual excavation is also under way as we speak. Through analysis of items, no weapons could be found. This find is strange indeed since other more fragile items such as pottery, and even animals skins were recovered. This strange occurance suggests that at the time of Quavispa's attack by the White Knights, they were completely helpless...
