Hey miotu, not to be mean or anything, but i think you should make all of your episodes into 1 topic. Just so it doesn't make everyone click around trying to find the different episodes. Also, it makes thingy neater. biglaugh.gif
PS: What is the artifact of infinate power?

Oh yeah, about the artifact of infinite power...I am referring to it as that for now...it will become more apparent as more issues come out...oh yeah, that is how I think I would like to do it. I will include Almost whole stories, if they are long enough, and full stories if they are short and complete. This way, I will not just have pages and pages for people to read, rather each issue regardless will be about 1 full page. This way, I can keep people's interest, while still making them curious of what is about to happen...I think this may solve some problems, yet still keep my original intention coolgleamA.gif

Well, thanks for all your imput, I appreciate...continue reading to see what the hermit does, and look for Lecki when he appears...he will be a crucial part of upcoming stories!!!

*Agrees with Yeah Man*

What I tend to do with an episodic thing like this, is to add the new part both as a reply AND an edit to the original topic. That way it keeps everything organized in the first part of the thread, yet it bumps it up so it can get attention again (and it should, since it's updated). Additionally, you can see the new part without digging through multiple pages... yet you can still see the replies and which episode they're referring to. So, in short, I recommend piling all the episodes into one topic, but when you add a new one, edit the topic AND add it as a reply.

Don't make a *new* topic with all the episodes, though. Mods can combine all 3 of these into one. *Requests a combine*
Those who will remember, will speak fondly of the warm morning breeze.

The Old Man's Mission...

The hermit, disgusted by the hatred of humanity, and now their power to express it, felt he had to do something, So, Certicas proceeded to Falador, where he had heard the ancient artifact was being held. Once there, he contacted his only friend in all a Runescape, an apothecary named Charis. The old, and subtle hermit asked his friend for only 3 things; a coin of gold, a shield of Falador, and a single thread. He stayed the night, and departed the next morning, not knowing he would never see his old friend again...

Certicas lay in wait until night fell. He was hurtled with anticipation of the task he must complete, and he knew that the guards would not be the difficult part. Despite his feelings, the hermit veiled his cloak, and entered the Fortress of the White Knights.

What is going to happen to Certicas, and what is it that he is so worried about? Find out in the next issue of Mythology of Runescape!

***NO CURRENT DIGS ARE UNDERWAY***
No excavations are currently underway, although ancient records are being analyzed for "abnormalities..." Any interesting finds shall be reported upon discovery.

Lecki

Once the time was proper, the old hermit veiled his cloak, and entered the fortress of the White Knights. Only two guards were present inside, but they were not aware of Certicas' presents. So, The old hermit casted the coin onto the ground, and hid in a crevice. The two guards, full of greed in their hearts, each rushed for the coin after they had heard its clank upon the stone floor. They fought forociously over the single coin while Certicas simply passed by. As he got deeper into the chasm that was the White Knight's fortress, the concentration of guards increased. Thus, the small hermit simply used the sheild he had gotten to cover nearly his whole body, thus masking his identity (plus, White Knights are rather stupid in mannerism, thus they are not able to detect small obscurities such as floating shields.) The hermit didn't know exactly where the artifact was, but he knew exactly who would possess it; His name was Lecki. Lecki, a large and very mysterious being was not quite a man, nor was he a monster. Lecki was supreme to all beings except for the gods themselves, and he showed it indeed. With his immense skills and strength, Lecki was an accomplsihed fighter for Falador, and an even deadlier sorceror. Hence, the hermit was terrified at the task that had to be done...

Sorry for all the delay, but issue 6 shall come tomorrow! Look for it, it shall be grand!

Into the Chasm

Certicas walked to the underground knight's hall. There, he sat and pondered for a moment until he was sure of himself; indeed he did remember where the secret passage was that his father, an innocent prisoner of Falador, had told him about so long ago. Certicas had remembered his father speak of a strong feeling he got every time he was moved through the knight’s hall, and relocated into another cell. One day, when Certicas's father was cleaning the knight’s hall chairs, he had told his son, he noticed a slight wind come from a crack between one of the tiles. To remember where this wind was so that later on her could return and investigate, he made up a poem:

Five paces past HIS chair,
Circle half round the dragon slayer,
Ten paces towards the Bear,
Beneath your feet lies the lair

Deciding that "his" chair must mean Lecki, Certicas looked for the grandest chair of them all, which was not hard to find; it was layered in gold, and plastered with precious gemstones. Also, the headboard was embroidered with a massive blue dragon, and oddly enough, 2 dragon teeth were also embedded into the chair...

Certicas then proceeded to look for this "Dragon Slayer" his father's poem described. After searching awhile, he realized that it was describing a bust of Lecki. On the bust, Certicas read the inscription, "To the greatest of the White Knights, thy slayer of the most fierce beast in all the land, the blue dragon, bringer of all sorrow and evil." After as he read this, he continued on with the rhyme. When he had stopped, he looked down and felt the breeze his father described. The tile beneath his feet was enormous, thus very difficult to lift. So, the clever hermit took his shield he still had, and wedged it under the crack, hence making a lever for which he could prop up the huge stone. Behold! A dark stone stairwell could be seen below. With unseen bravery, the hermit plummeted into the chasm below...

Sorry for the fragmentation, but alas! Issue 7 is close to being up...only one more day to wait!

***DIG NUMBER THREE***

Through close investigation of the White Knight's castle, a small underground passage could be found, and thus the White Knight's hall actually DID exist. However, when the hall was entered, all chairs were present except for one; the legendary chair of Lecki seemed to be missing, as well as the two magical teeth embedded within the chair itself. An old bust of more than 500 years of age was found and recorded, and as the legend of Certicas described, a man named Lecki did indeed slay the fabled Blue Dragon of Power.

We march... We march to war... We march... We fight... We are Spartans. Blood will fall, but it will not be ours... We march... Sparta is war reborn... we are the children of war... We are Spartans.
I am Leonidas, and this is my story. I have met the wolf, felt its bite, and I have survived. These new wolves are neverending, but Sparta will show true might. Though we fall, still we will come for we are war incarnate. I have started this, and so must I finish it. Xerxes shall die, this I, Leonidas, warlord of Sparta, do say. This is the story of the 300... the story of Spartan heroism. Though we bled the ground red at Thermopolyae, still we live on.
War is Sparta, We are Spartans. We are War!
